#351 - Monochrome shots in the city of pines.
Hello good day again to you all my dear Hiveans. I hope you are all doing well as of this time. Just let me tell some story about our walk yesterday before we proceed to the monochrome shots. So we went out, my wife and I, again yesterday for an early brisk walk in the riverbanks. We woke up at five in the morning and rode a jeepney to the town proper and got there around 5:30am so we started walking gradually increasing our speed, after about a kilometer of distance covered the rain started to fall again just like the other day.😅
My wife got frustrated because she really wanted to have a good walk before starting to work at eight in the morning. Good thing there is a nipa hut 🛖 nearby which were erected by the local government for people who loves to walk in the river and also as a shelter while raining. There were elderly people already that early in the morning and they are all having a coffee and bread with their friends. They went there to have an early morning walk too but they seem to be earlier than us.
So we waited for around ten minutes and left the hut though there is still a bit of rain, we still push through with the brisk walk. We talked that of it rains heavy then we have no choice but to run fast to the nearest building which is still about more than a kilometer away.😅
Well good thing no more rain shower so we finished the walk fifteen minutes before seven and went to a fast food to have our breakfast already. That was our yesterday morning routine and hope you had yours too.😊
Moving on let me share these black and white shots recently taken in Baguio. This first one was taken in the foot bridge hence the shot is elevated. There's these two people talking on the side of the road, one is walking while the other is on his bike. They recognized each other maybe even with the mask on that is why they stopped for a chat.
Right after a rain, people started to walk again going to their places of business. This is just near the jeepney terminal across the park.
A normal day with the flow of vehicles traffic going from one direction to the other. This is the most heavily vehicle trafficked area of this city, the intersection over that foot bridge is where the flow stops and go because of the traffic 🚦 light.
A woman checks her phone not minding where she steps in. I believe she has a presence of mind doing multitasking.😅 There's also vandalism on the walls of the building nearby.
