Amidst the splendid spring season I'm here to show you some of the beauty that this materialistic world is unaware of. Before going to that allow me to introduce myself a bit cause this platform is quite new for me. So shall we start?

Hello everyone! I'm Angshuman belonging to Assam, India. Assam a land of diversity, rich culture, brotherhood, heritage festivals and places that are eye catching. Assam is basically a part of eight sister of the North-Eastern part of India. Eight sister defines the 8 states bonded together with the common ancestry. Assam is situated at the south of eastern Himalaya along the Brahmaputra and Barak River valleys. Assamese is the most common language spoken all over the state. Though many more tribal languages are widespread. One thing that you'll notice in Assamese people that they stay in the true beauty of nature and are rich by heart that of late the globalized world just can't really afford.

I had been to a local relaxing place where the beauty of nature holds the true meaning of peace and life blossom happiness. The place is almost 35 km from my home. With some friends of mine we planned to go there after a hectic exam period that just ended a few days back. We needed some refreshments and inner peace. Beauty of the koal bird chirping in the dawn of the morning, sound of flowing river, fireflies that enlighten us at the evening and a deep refreshing sleep with a peaceful of night. So we headed to 'Nimati Ghat' . The place that I was referring was nothing less than a true beautiful creation of The Almighty.

This place is way to apart from the modern civilization and industrialisation. Nimati is an important port of the state which serves as a link for ferry boats that operate from the river port to Majuli Island. So yes it has great importance in the state. I shall come up with a blog on Majuli pretty soon if you, yes you find it little bit of interesting.

We went there by motorbikes. Started our journey at around 3:00 pm and and reached there by around 3:45 pm. It was at a distant distance and we wanted to stay for a night so we choose to travel in the afternoon. I could not able to capture much of it as I'm a person who just loves to enjoy the present with like no other distractions cause the beauty of nature just doesnot allow me to divert my mind away from it. But the few I did, I hope you guys will love to see them.

A boat locally called a 'Nau' in the River bank was the first thing my eyes noticed. This type of boata are generally used by fisherman to catch local fishes in the River that they sell in the daily ot weekly market. Some of these are Rohu, Barali, Bhokua, Kanduli. They do living by this profession and totally dependent on the Brahmaputra river.

The sunny sky over the tree branches were so calm and relaxing to look at. The weather was so good that we started to lost ourselves in the beauty of nature.

Just look at the Sun trying to kiss the river. Is not it so beautiful and fascinating? Well anyone gonna find pleasure by spending an evening there. Peace just lies within our minds. You don't have to search for it, you feel it and enjoy it.

This house is made of hay which are mostly use as forage for animal husbandry. In local language this house is called a 'Chang Ghar'. Chang basically means above the ground as you can see the floor of the house is above the ground level. Staying in a Chang Ghar has its own beauty that none other can match the level. We stayed on these houses and had conversations till midnight than we fell asleep in the lap of mother nature.
