La pandemia de COVID-19 ha traído consigo la necesidad del tener que utilizar mascarillas para evitar así la propagación y el contagio del dichoso virus, así mismo se trata de éste instrumento como la medida principal de bioseguridad obligatoria durante los paseos lejos de casa, es importante que las personas conozcan acerca del correcto uso de la mascarilla a través de sencillos pasos.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought with it the need to wear masks to prevent the spread and contagion of the said virus, and this instrument is also the main mandatory biosafety measure during walks away from home. It is important that people know about the correct use of the mask through simple steps.
Es indispensable mantener las manos limpias, esto debe de suceder antes de ponerla y luego de quitarla, lo ideal al momento de realizar este paso es tomando la mascarilla por las tiras de sujeción sin tener que tocar la parte delantera de la mascarilla, de igual manera no se debe de tocar cuando se lleva puesta pues así logramos evitar que se mueva y a su vez contaminar otras superficies que nos rodean.

Las mascarillas tienen un tiempo de vida, así que deben ser utilizadas en un tiempo determinado por la duración de su protección, claro está que esto va a variar dependiendo del tipo de mascarilla. Las mascarillas quirúrgicas son las más comunes por lo que no deben usarse por más de 4 horas, en caso de requerir seguir utilizando la mascarilla ésta se deberá de reemplazar por otra que esté nueva.
The masks have a life time, so they must be used in a certain time for the duration of their protection, of course this will vary depending on the type of mask. Es entendible que con la llegada de la pandemia nos encontremos afectados por el uso de la mascarilla, sin embargo a dos años de su llegada aún hay personas que no saben como utilizar correctamente dicho material para prevenir la propagación del virus.
It is understandable that with the arrival of the pandemic we find ourselves affected by the use of the mask, however two years after its arrival there are still people who do not know how to use said material correctly to prevent the spread of the virus.
