Hola amigos, espero que tengan todos un gran fin de semana, después de mucho tiempo me animé a preparar tortillas de harina de trigo, la verdad me gustan mucho pero debo admitir que el trabajo que conlleva hacerlas me cohíbe un poco de cocinarlas más seguido, pero como dije anteriormente ayer me animé a hacerlas y como siempre documenté todo el proceso para compartirlo con ustedes, espero que esta receta les guste, sin más nada que añadir comencemos.
Hello friends, I hope you all have a great weekend, after a long time I decided to prepare wheat flour tortillas, I really like them a lot but I must admit that the work involved in making them makes me a little self-conscious about cooking them more often, but as I said before yesterday I decided to make them and as always I documented the whole process to share it with you, I hope you like this recipe, without anything else to add let's start.
Comenzamos esta preparación añadiendo 300 gr de harina de trigo en un bowl junto con media cucharada de levadura en polvo, 3 cucharadas de azúcar, media cucharada de sal, un pequeño chorro de aceite y media taza de agua, ahora debemos amasar muy bien hasta que hagamos una masa con consistencia suficiente para poder moldear, en caso de sentirla muy líquida simplemente añadimos más harina de trigo y dejamos reposar por 15 minutos.
We begin this preparation by adding 300 gr of wheat flour in a bowl together with half a tablespoon of baking powder, 3 tablespoons of sugar, half a tablespoon of salt, a small splash of oil and half a cup of water, now we must knead very well until let's make a dough with enough consistency to be able to mold, in case it feels very liquid we simply add more wheat flour and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Añadimos harina de trigo en la superficie de trabajo, tomamos una pequeña porción de la masa que acabamos de hacer, la cubrimos de harina de trigo y la aplanamos con ayuda de un rodillo otorgándole forma redondeada.
Add wheat flour to the work surface, take a small portion of the dough that we just made, cover it with wheat flour and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin, giving it a rounded shape.
Colocamos un sartén a fuego medio, añadimos un pequeño chorro de aceite y agregamos la tortilla, debemos estar al pendiente porque al ser delgada se cocina rápido, una vez que notemos que comienzan a dorar las volteamos.
We place a frying pan over medium heat, add a small splash of oil and add the tortilla, we must be on the lookout because being thin it cooks quickly, once we notice that they begin to brown we turn them over.
Y bueno amigos, de esta sencilla mañera es que yo suelo preparar las tortillas de harina de trigo, a muchas personas no le añaden aceite a la preparación pero yo recomiendo mucho añadirlo ya que esto le da un toque mas suave y esponjoso, recomiendo almacenarlas en un lugar fresco y ventilado, de ninguna manera se deben llevar a la nevera ya que eso las volverá duras y quebradizas, gracias por pasar, espero que les haya gustado esta receta, nos vemos en el siguiente post, hasta la próxima.
