Traje azul, Semana Santa.
En una Semana Santa
te conocí, bella dama,
y en tus ojos una llama
descubrí en ese momento,
y te di mi sentimiento
acostados en la grama.
Cargabas un traje azul
en tu bonita figura
y en tu rostro la dulzura
de un trato bello y cordial
me conquistó en forma tal,
que hasta perdí la cordura.
Varios años han pasado
y recuerdos de ese amor
me traen leve fulgor
de una tímida esperanza
cuando al ver la lontananza
está lejos tu calor.
En silencio la tristeza
apenas mi pecho aguanta
y me duele la garganta
de llamarte en la distancia,
y me llega es la fragancia
de aquella Semana Santa.
