Vivir y morir en un segundo - historia [ESP-ENG]

Todo marchaba de maravilla en las clases del liceo del pueblo, donde los alumnos se divertían en su receso de clases y otros se quejaban de los pesados horarios de clases, donde quedaba muy poco para terminar ese año escolar. Los alumnos de quinto año estaban contentos porque estaban muy cerca de su objetivo, convertirse en bachilleres por el que tanto habían trabajado, donde querían celebrarlo por todo lo alto y para ello se estaban poniendo de acuerdo para recaudar fondos y así tener el dinero necesario para su fiesta de graduación.

Everything was going wonderfully in the classes of the high school of the town, where the students were having fun in their class break and others were complaining about the heavy class schedules, where there was very little left to finish that school year. The fifth grade students were happy because they were very close to their goal of becoming high school graduates for which they had worked so hard, where they wanted to celebrate in style and for that purpose they were agreeing to raise funds and thus have the necessary money for their graduation party.

En ese grupo de estudiantes se encontraba Víctor, un alumno que a pesar de no ser el mejor de su clase, tenía la aceptación de sus compañeros por ser el Don Juan del lugar, es que Víctor era simpático para las chicas de su instituto, además de que siempre le gustaba ir muy bien vestido con la moda. Después de tanto debatir y bromear entre amigos, ese grupo llegó a la conclusión de realizar una fiesta de día en un club popular del pueblo, solo necesitaban quien los representara con los permisos legales.

In that group of students was Victor, a student who despite not being the best in his class, had the acceptance of his classmates for being the Don Juan of the place, is that Victor was nice for the girls of his high school, besides that, he always liked to be very well dressed with the fashionable. After so much debate and joking among friends, that group came to the conclusion to hold a matinee in a popular club of the town, they only needed who to tell them to represent them with the legal permissions.

El tiempo pasaba y ya habían preparado todo lo referente al evento, la publicidad no podía faltar y todo el liceo estaba al tanto, en los pasillos solo se escuchaba a los alumnos decir si iban a la fiesta, estaban emocionados por disfrutar del baile entre amigos. Los alumnos de quinto año estaban ultimando el evento, para ello designaron grupos que se encargaran de las cosas necesarias para que todo estuviera en orden, Víctor estaba en el grupo de seguridad, estaba emocionado junto a sus compañeros, era su primera fiesta en la que participaban.

Time passed and they had already prepared everything concerning the event, the publicity could not be missing and the whole campus was aware of it, in the corridors you could only hear the students saying if they were going to the matinee, they were excited to enjoy dancing among friends. The fifth year students were finalizing the event, for that reason they designated groups to be in charge of the necessary things so that everything would be in order, Victor was in the security group, he was excited along with his classmates, it was their first party in which they participated.

La fiesta comenzó, la música no paraba de sonar y pronto la pista de baile estaba llena, todos disfrutaban del ambiente. Víctor y sus compañeros estaban haciendo su trabajo en la parte de seguridad, todo iba de maravilla pero, algo cambiaría la vida de Víctor drásticamente y nadie se lo imaginaba. Hacía ya un par de horas que había empezado la fiesta y el grupo que estaba con Víctor también quería divertirse bailando un poco, así que hubo un relevo de guardia, y Víctor se dispuso a salir a bailar inmediatamente ya que le encantaba hacerlo, la fiesta estaba genial, todos disfrutando del baile pero de repente algo pasó, de pronto Víctor sintió un ardor en el costado, la pista de baile estaba llena, y no se dio cuenta de lo que estaba pasando, cuando se miró vio que estaba sangrando.

The party started, the music did not stop playing and soon the dance floor was full, everyone was enjoying the atmosphere. Victor and his colleagues were doing their job in the security part, everything was going great but, something would change Victor's life drastically and nobody imagined it. It was already a couple of hours since the party started and the group that was with Victor also wanted to have fun dancing a little, so there was a relief of guard, and Victor was ready to go dancing immediately as he loved to do it, the party was great all enjoying the dance but suddenly something happened, suddenly Victor felt a burning in his side, the dance floor was full, and did not realize what was happening, when he looked at himself he saw that he was bleeding.

Víctor sufrió una crisis nerviosa, fue llevado inmediatamente al hospital más cercano, a pesar de lo sucedido muy poca gente se dio cuenta de lo que ocurrió y la fiesta continuó, Víctor fue atendido y estuvo fuera de peligro pero, su vida no iba a ser la misma a partir de ese momento. Aquel suceso provocó que Víctor sufriera ataques de nervios lo que le llevó a refugiarse en el alcohol y pronto probó las drogas, todo para olvidar lo que sintió después de aquel suceso, su familia intentó ayudarle pero ya era demasiado tarde, Víctor sufrió una sobredosis que le hizo perder la cabeza, este pobre chico ya no era el mismo, ya no era el rompecorazones como muchos le conocían, desgraciadamente ahora le llamaban el loco Víctor, porque tristemente su vida cambió por un suceso que nunca se supo quién fue el que le causó el daño a este joven.

Victor had a nervous breakdown, he was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, despite what happened very few people noticed the event and the party continued, Victor was treated and out of danger but his life was not going to be the same from that moment on. That event caused Victor to suffer from nervousness attacks which led him to take refuge in alcohol and soon he tried drugs, all to forget what he felt after that event, his family tried to help him but it was too late, Victor suffered an overdose which caused him to lose his mind, this poor boy was not the same, he was no longer the heartthrob as many knew him, unfortunately now they called him crazy Victor, because sadly his life changed because of an event that was never known who was the one who caused the damage to this young man.

La situación se hizo fuerte para la familia de Víctor, ya que él padecía de esquizofrenia, y se volvió muy agresivo y deambulaba por las calles donde tristemente la gente que lo veía se burlaba de él, por esa razón, fue internado en un centro psiquiátrico donde tristemente murió con el paso de los años, no pudo recuperarse de todos esos acontecimientos que hicieron que su vida nunca fuera la misma. La vida es corta y es por ello que debemos valorarla mucho, hoy seguramente hemos conocido a un Víctor en nuestra vida donde las circunstancias cambian en un segundo, si es así, hagamos todo lo que esté a nuestro alcance para ayudar a este tipo de personas, todo lo que hagamos por él podría hacer que recupere su vida nuevamente.

The situation became strong for Victor's family, as he was suffering from schizophrenia, and became very aggressive and wandered the streets where sadly people who saw him mocked him, for that reason he was admitted to a psychiatric center where he sadly died over the years and could not recover from all those events that made his life never be the same. Life is short and it is for this reason that we must value it very much, today we have surely met a Victor in our life where circumstances change in a second, if so, let's do everything in our power to help such people, everything we do for him could make him recover his life again.
