¡Por fin! Todo listo para el gran día (como no ha parado de decir Leo toda la semana jejeje). En bolsas transparentes metimos las libretas para colorear que habíamos fabricado, las invitaciones en papel (que previamente habíamos enviado por mensajería a cada familia), también los muñequitos de regalo, golosinas y chocolates. Cerramos cada una de ellas con lazos de tul azules y naranjas, que sujetaban a su vez las etiquetas decoradas. Todo estaba coordinado con el diseño original que habíamos creado.

In transparent bags we put the colouring books we had made, the invitations in paper (which we had previously sent by courier to each family), as well as the gift dolls, sweets and chocolates. We closed each of them with blue and orange tulle bows, which in turn held the decorated labels. Everything was coordinated with the original design we had created.

The stamp (and the essence) of miAu! stamped everything. The colours chosen for the celebration were blue and light blue, orange and yellow. That's how we set up the sweets table, with the tablecloth and napkins in those colours, as well as the balloons, plates, cutlery,... An original and fun combination, ideal for a children's birthday party.
En la imagen podéis ver la mesa antes de la celebración. Todavía quedaban por colocar globos y platos de golosinas, y recoger todas las herramientas que teníamos por medio. Lo bueno de estas cosas es que son casi mejores los momentos previos que el evento en sí. Al menos yo disfruto mucho con los preparativos, sobre todo si los globos los inflamos mis amigos, mis chicos y yo, entre risas, bromas y explosiones inesperadas (jeje).
In the picture you can see the table before the celebration. There were still balloons and plates of sweets to be placed, and all the tools we had to collect. The good thing about these things is that the moments before the event are almost better than the event itself. At least I really enjoy the preparations, especially if the balloons are inflated by my friends, my boys and me, between laughs, jokes and unexpected explosions (hehe).
Los sellos que preparamos los convertimos en "pinchos" para decorar la tarta (y también las empanadas, las tortillas de patatas, los saladitos,...). Fue muy gracioso ver a Leo por todas partes, y hubo quien se llevó algún "Leo" de recuerdo (jajaja). Esta es la tarta pequeñita, ¡al final hubo mini bombas de chocolate para dos montañas! Las amontonamos en unos platos cubiertos con blondas, y rociamos los pastelitos con chocolate blanco y chocolate con avellanas líquidos, además de grageas de chocolate y estrellitas de azúcar. Como colofón, los muñequitos preferidos del cumpleañero y la vela multicolor, por supuesto.
The stamps that we prepared were turned into "skewers" to decorate the cake (and also the empanadas, potato omelettes, salads,...). It was very funny to see Leo everywhere, and some people took some "Leo" as a souvenir (hahaha). This is the little cake, at the end there were mini chocolate bombs for two mountains! We piled them up on plates covered with doilies, and sprinkled the little cakes with white chocolate and chocolate hazelnut liquid, as well as chocolate sprinkles and sugar stars. To top it all off, the birthday boy's favourite dolls and the multicoloured candle, of course.
Todas las bolsas estaban personalizadas con el nombre de cada niño y niña, y les gustó mucho el detalle de ver que su paquete había sido preparado especialmente para ellos. Para los hermanos mayores preparé otras libretas con las hojas en blanco (sin los dibujos para colorear), y que pudieran usarla como un cuaderno de notas.
All the bags were personalised with the name of each boy and girl, and they loved the detail of seeing that their package had been prepared especially for them. For the older siblings, I prepared other notebooks with blank pages (without the drawings for colouring), so that they could use it as a notebook.
Se lo pasaron genial. En el local elegido había camas elásticas, piscinas de bolas, tiovivo, piscina de agua con barquitas, trenecito, castillos hinchables,... y parecía que el color de todo aquello estaba coordinado adrede con nuestra temática.
They had a great time. In the chosen venue there were trampolines, ball pools, a merry-go-round, a water pool with little boats, a little train, bouncy castles,... and it seemed that the colour of everything was deliberately coordinated with our theme.
Un gran día en todos los sentidos. Muy satisfecha con mi trabajo, con lo que disfrutó todo el mundo y, sobre todo, con mi peque diciéndome que había sido el mejor cumpleaños de su vida (como me dice cada año, y como supongo que seguirá haciendo todos los que están por venir jajaja).
A great day in every way. Very satisfied with my work, with what everyone enjoyed and, above all, with my little one telling me that it had been the best birthday of her life (as she tells me every year, and as I guess she will continue to do all the ones to come hahaha).
