Indagando y conociendo nuevas comunidades me topé con #Succulentgrowers, no tenía idea que existía una comunidad dedicada a estas hermosas plantas.
Digging around and getting to know new communities I stumbled upon #Succulentgrowers, I had no idea there was a community dedicated to these beautiful plants.
Hace aproximadamente 4 años las conocí y fue Amor a primera vista! No tenía idea de cómo se llamaban ni cuales eran sus cuidados.
Asi que con la primera suculenta fue... Ensayo y error! No tenía idea que crecía tanto! La transplante más de 3 veces... Le echaba mucha agua por lo tanto... Empecé a notar que sus hojas se empezaron a marchitar!
Busque mucha información en la red respecto a ellas y descubrí que el exceso de agua no era lo recomendable, pues la estaba matando 🥺.
Trate de enmendar mi error pero era tarde... Su raíz estaba podrida. Con suerte logré sacar muchos hijos de ella y empecé de nuevo a cultivarlas, está vez con mejores cuidados y mayor atención!
About 4 years ago I met them and it was love at first sight! I had no idea what they were called or how to take care of them.
So with the first succulent it was.... Trial and error! I had no idea it grew so much! I transplanted it more than 3 times.... I used to water it a lot so.... I started to notice that its leaves started to wilt!
I looked up a lot of information on the net regarding them and found out that overwatering was not the recommended thing to do, as it was killing it 🥺.
I tried to make amends for my mistake but it was too late.... Its root was rotten. Hopefully I managed to get many offspring out of it and started growing them again, this time with better care and more attention!

Esa fue la primera suculenta que tuve y no conocía sus cuidados! Afortunadamente logré sacar muchos hijos y tener una nueva oportunidad de cultivarla.
Sobre ella descubrí, que es muy resistente al verano, su riego debe ser en lapsos de 3 a 5 días y esperar que la tierra este bien seca para ello y el agua debe aplicarse en la tierra no directamente en las hojas, en invierno no amerita riego ya que el exceso de agua la pudre. Es una plantita muy resistente, no sufre de plagas u otro tipo de enfermedades comunes entre las plantas.
Para mí, ella es un espectáculo! Muy llamativa por su forma de Rosa gigante!
That was the first succulent I had and I didn't know its care! Fortunately I managed to take many offspring and have a new opportunity to grow it.
About it I discovered that it is very resistant to the summer, its irrigation must be in periods of 3 to 5 days and wait for the soil to be dry and the water must be applied in the soil not directly on the leaves, in winter it does not need irrigation because the excess water rots. It is a very resistant plant, it does not suffer from pests or other common plant diseases.
For me, she is a spectacle! Very eye-catching because of her giant rose shape!

Está suculenta me la robe! 😁🤭 Fui de visita a una casa y allí estaba ella, en el corredor. Antes de irme y sin que la dueña me viera (porque era delicada con las plantas y no le gustaba regalar) tomé un pequeño tallo y la sembré al llegar a casa!
Se propagó rápidamente...
Note que sus hojas se caían con mucha facilidad si se tropezaba.
Luego descubrí que con sus hojas caídas se pueden seguir propagando y lo hice como experimento.

I noticed that its leaves fell off very easily if tripped over.

Está Graptopetalum es originaria de México, es muy resistente al sol e incluso al clima frío.
Es la suculenta que más cuidado doy por la fragilidad de sus hojas!

Se dice que tiene alrededor de 29 especies... Sus cuidados son muy parecidos a los de la Echeveria, se puede tener incluso dentro del hogar solo que con buena fuente de luz y poco riego!
Este ejemplar aún está chiquito, a medida que vaya creciendo me iré familiarizando más con el y sus características!

Vivo en un lugar con poco espacio para cultivar todas las plantas que quiero y que me gustan, pues mi casa es tipo apartamento sin ningún tipo de espacio como corredor o al aire libre, sin embargo me las he ingeniado para poder cultivar estás preciosuras de suculentas!
Con la meta de conseguir muchos ejemplares más...😁😜
I live in a place with little space to grow all the plants that I want and that I like, because my house is apartment type without any space as a corridor or outdoors, however I have managed to grow these precious succulents!
