Hola familia bloguera, deseo que este día lo estén pasando excelente y quieran leer un poco más mis historias que son de fuentes confiables y fotos del momento. 😄 No sé si la mayoría de ustedes se hayan criado en el campo, yo no lo fui, siempre estaba en la ciudad y no tenía ése contacto con ese ambiente, si no cuando iba a los parques. Por otro lado, mis padres sí fueron criados en el campo, para muchos es un trabajo arduo, pero a ellos les gusta sembrar y tener su cosecha libre de químicos, todo es 100% natural.

Hello blogging family, I wish this day you are having an excellent time and want to read a little more of my stories that are from reliable sources and photos of the moment. 😄 I don't know if most of you were raised in the countryside, I wasn't, I was always in the city and I didn't have that contact with that environment, if not when I went to the parks. On the other hand, my parents were raised in the countryside, for many it is hard work, but they like to plant and have their harvest free of chemicals, everything is 100% natural.

El mes de marzo es la temporada de invierno aquí en Ecuador. Donde siempre llueve es en Quito, pero para los que siembran es una bendición la lluvia, eso ayuda a que las plantas crezcan y se formen bien. Mis padres siembran maiz, frejol largo, badeas, maracuyá y en esta ocasión maní, pero si cosecha estará lista para finales de mayo. Con los choclos que han sacado preparé unas ricas cachapas, ésa receta estará en otro post. 😉

March is the winter season here in Ecuador. It always rains in Quito, but for those who plant is a blessing the rain, it helps the plants to grow and form well. My parents plant corn, long beans, badeas, passion fruit and this time peanuts, but the harvest will be ready by the end of May. With the corn they have harvested I prepared some delicious cachapas, that recipe will be in another post 😉.

El año pasado muchas familias tuvieron pérdidas porque no llovió como en este tiempo, sin embargo algo se sacó. Es difícil cuando pides algún préstamo al banco pero Dios nunca desampara a sus hijos. Lo otro es que por la cuarentena pocos salían a ver su cosecha por miedo a contagiarse. Mis respetos a todas esas personas que les gusta sembrar y tener su propia cosecha. En el caso de mi papá él con ayuda de mi mamá se ponen a fumigar, a abonar, a cortar la maleza y sobre todo a orar para que Dios mande el agua y todo crezca sano..

Last year many families had losses because it did not rain like this time, however, something was taken out. It is difficult when you ask for a loan from the bank, but God never forsakes his children. The other thing is that because of the quarantine, few people went out to see their harvest for fear of catching the disease. My respects to all those people who like to plant and have their own harvest. In my father's case, he and my mother's help are spraying, fertilizing, cutting the weeds and above all praying that God will send water and that everything will grow healthy...

Para serles sincera, se han agarrado casi 70 choclos, algunos se han regalado y otros se han utilizado para hacer sopas, tortas y más. El que sobre se le muele a los pollos que hay en la casa. Aunque esto por aquí sea productivo, hace falta que el Municipio haga lo posible para que llegue el agua por tuberías, porque hace falta ese servicio. La mayoría llena es por tanqueros. Así que por eso debemos valorar cada esfuerzo que hacen las personas al sembrar y darles un rico alimento, sea para el consumo propio o el de ofrecerles a los comercios . Agradezco que hayan llegado hasta aquí y puedan conocer el lugar donde vivo. ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del campo? Cuéntame alguna anécdota 😉.

To be honest, almost 70 corn have been harvested, some have been given away and others have been used to make soups, cakes and more. The leftover is ground for the chickens in the house. Although this is productive around here, we need the municipality to do what it can to get water through pipes, because we need this service. Most of the water is supplied by tankers. So that is why we must value every effort that people make to plant and give them a rich food, either for their own consumption or to offer to businesses.
