➤ I think that both me and everyone when we see Terraria for the first time we think it is a kind of Minecraft but in 2D, of course, although, I have to say that this is not true at all. Terraria is a completely different world that I would dare to say has much more content than Minecraft, but at the cost of not so much entertainment for all types of players. Terraria is an infinite game, with a lot to offer, although I have to say that playing it alone is boring, so this time I decided to play it but with friends. Friends always make everything better.
➤ I have to say that I honestly know nothing about this game, I just entered the world as any helpless novice player, just as soon as I entered I realized that my friends already had half a house built and a lot of objects. I was something like a decoration at first, asking for help about what the heck I have to do, I didn't even know how to climb a rope. And I also realized something, something dangerous, something that can end our life thousands of times and fill us with suffering.... The slimes, yes, the slimes. I am sure of something and it is that here the slimes are the final bosses. I wasn't even 5 minutes into the game when they started attacking and killing me non-stop.

➤ The first thing I did as a typical newbie in search of survival and to become the best, was to go to venture into a small cave in search of minerals for my items, make me weapons, armor or whatever I can make me, I just wanted to do something. Violating the laws of physics I put a random block in the air and rode on top of it to start chopping all the copper and all the rock I could find around the place, afraid to keep going down, actually, I was told to be careful with that cave because of something down there, I just stayed up there as high as I could trying to get my precious minerals.
➤ To my luck on my way back down I realized that it was night, I have no idea of the things that can appear, but something bad has to happen, and yes, it does. And yes it did, when I got to the house I noticed that there were a bunch of zombies trying to get in and also some kind of demonic eyes capable of flying. Along with that a shower of shooting stars started to fall, I didn't really understand that but I went outside for a moment because I wanted to grab a star and see what I could do with it. I guess not much really, I just grabbed it and my character placed it upwards. I guess it was brightening our home and keeping the zombies away with the power of light.
➤ There was a new dawn, and I gave myself the task of analyzing my surroundings a bit. Terraria despite being a simple 2D game with simple graphics, has small details that are quite pleasing to the eye and make the game feel fluid and natural. With quite nice background landscapes that have small interactions, like suddenly seeing in the background balloons passing by, or seeing how birds fly away from us when we approach. Along with other small details, when we pass by a plant and it moves when we brush against it and the same with other things that may be on the ground. The interaction and reaction of our character or actions with the environment, for example when we shoot arrows and they fall to the ground without hitting, raising some moss. Those little details that make a graphically simple game, quite nice.

➤ As I was tired of not having weapons, one of my friends gave me a bow that I had to spare along with a few arrows, I officially became Legolas, in fact even my hairstyle matched it. Now I could fight against everything, or at least I thought I could. A small tragedy happened and instead of us finishing off the zombies, they finished us off and took our home. They came in and never wanted to leave, and trying to kill them we died a lot of times. Every time we die there is a grave left in the ground, and there is the possibility of turning a plot of land into a graveyard if there are too many graves together and that is what happened.
➤ For so many times that we died our house ended up becoming a cemetery, this causes that even zombies can appear during the day to come and attack us. The only way to eliminate this effect is to destroy all the graves on the ground, so I started to destroy them with my little pickaxe as fast as I could.

➤ Something that was very funny and unexpected, is that one of my friends had another character very well equipped, as I see there is a list of character that we can have and fill with equipment on any other server or world, and enter with this character wherever we want along with all your items, or well, that's what my friend did. He entered with a character with 400 health and a brutal equipment, a huge sword that magically attacked all over the house, filling everything with flashes and glows that really looked quite epic, along with swords all over the sky. It was a very strange thing for me, I didn't think such weapons would exist, but that one got me thinking, what enemies are we going to have to use it against? My companions told me that there is a huge amount of bosses in Terraria, but, at least so far I haven't seen any.
➤ There are also NPC's in this game, which seem to come to our house every few days and can offer us different services, such as selling us objects, healing us or helping us to create new things. These are the 3 NPC's I've seen so far, but the most annoying one was the old horny guy who sells objects, who first sells ridiculous things at overprice, he stole my chair. To decorate our little cottage I made a chair and a table where I sat at a time I went to do something, when I come back there was the old man sitting there.... My friend and I did not hesitate to finish him to want to stop him from there, although I think you can not kill the NPC.
➤ My other companion always spent it stuck in a cave, trying to find all kinds of resources, in the end he always came out successful. But this time I wanted to venture out myself to go with him and see what I could find inside the caves, other than the typical materials. I expected to find something amazing, and I did. But first, before the disaster, see me just standing there admiring the atmosphere of the cave.
➤ Well, it turns out that I don't know what the fuck happened, if it was a bug or something similar but it seemed that the whole structure of the cave had disappeared, I thought it was something normal and that I was just going to access another kind of environment inside the cave, but when I jumped I began to fall into the void, without reaching any end, falling into the darkness and trying to react about what the fuck had happened. Until I realized that I started falling towards hell, or the underworld, I really don't know what it is, but my friends were freaking out thinking how the fuck I did it, telling me that it's something quite difficult and unique, I was just kind of ok. In the end I ended up falling down to the lowest part of hell and died, losing all my coins...

➤ In the end I simply decided not to venture into caves anymore for now, I was traumatized, so I stayed on the surface helping to build and decorate the house. My friend came back from the caves and brought me some radiant platinum armor, I have to say I looked pretty good, although the helmet was the only thing that made the armor look bad. I couldn't find any way to turn it off or have it on and not be seen, it's not like WoW :(
➤ But it was all quite fun, and the end result of our house was beyond beautiful, although there is still supposed to be a lot of building to do. To say goodbye we just stood on the roof looking out into nothingness.

➤ Creo que tanto yo como todos cuando vemos Terraria por primera vez pensamos que es una especie de Minecraft pero en 2D, claro, aunque, he de decir que esto no es para nada cierto. Terraria es un mundo completamente distinto que me atrevería a decir que tiene mucho más contenido que Minecraft, pero a coste de no tanto entretenimiento para todo tipo de jugadores. Terraria es un juego infinito, con mucho que ofrecer, aunque he de decir que jugarlo solo resulta aburrido, por eso esta vez decidí jugarlo pero con amigos. Los amigos siempre hacen todo mejor.
➤ Tengo que decir que sinceramente no sé nada acerca de este juego, simplemente entré al mundo como cualquier jugador novato desamparado, de igual forma al apenas entrar me di cuenta que ya mis amigos tenían media casa construida y un montón de objetos. Yo al principio fui algo así como una decoración, pidiendo ayuda acerca de qué rayos tengo que hacer, no sabía ni siquiera como subir una cuerda. Y también me di cuenta de algo, algo peligroso, que puede acabar con nuestra vida miles de veces y llenarnos de sufrimiento... Los slimes, sí, los slimes. Estoy seguro de algo y es que acá los slime son los jefes finales. No estuve ni siquiera en 5 minutos de partida cuando comenzaron a atacarme y matarme sin parar.

➤ Lo primero que hice como típico novato en busca de la supervivencia y de hacerme el mejor, fue ir a aventurarme a una pequeña cueva en busca de minerales para mis objetos, hacerme armas, armaduras o lo que sea que pueda hacerme, simplemente quería poder hacer algo. Violando las leyes de la física puse un bloque aleatorio en el aire y me monté encima de él para comenzar a picar todo el cobre y toda la roca que encontraba por el lugar, con miedo de seguir bajando, en realidad, me dijeron que tuviera cuidado con esa cueva por algo que había abajo, yo simplemente me quedé ahí lo más arriba que podía intentando conseguir mis preciados minerales.
➤ Para mi suerte al devolverme me di cuenta que era de noche, no tengo ni idea de las cosas que pueden aparecer, pero algo malo tiene que pasar. Y sí, así es. Al llegar a la casa me di cuenta que habían un montón de zombies intentando entrar y también una especie de ojos demoníacos capaces de volar. Junto a eso comenzó a caer una lluvia de estrellas fugaces, la verdad no entendí mucho eso pero salí un momento porque quería agarrar una estrella y ver qué podía hacer con ella. Creo que en realidad no mucho, simplemente la agarraba y mi personaje la colocaba hacia arriba. Supongo que estaba dándole brillo a nuestro hogar y alejando a los zombies con el poder de la luz.
➤ Hubo un nuevo amanecer, y me di la tarea de analizar un poco mi entorno. Terraria a pesar de ser un simple juego 2D con gráficos sencillos, tiene pequeños detalles que son bastante agradables a la vista y hacen sentir al juego fluido y natural. Con paisajes bastante bonitos de fondo que tienen pequeñas interacciones, como de repente ver en el fondo globos pasar, o ver como los pájaros vuelan lejos de nosotros cuando nos acercamos. Junto a otros pequeños detalles, cuando pasamos por una planta y esta se mueve por cuando la rozamos y lo mismo con otras cosas que pueden estar en el suelo. La interacción y reacción de nuestro personaje o acciones con el ambiente, por ejemplo cuando disparamos flechas y caen al suelo sin atinar, levantando algo de musgo. Esos pequeños detalles que hacen a un juego gráficamente simple, bastante bonito.

➤ Como estaba cansado de no tener armas, uno de mis amigos me regaló un arco que tenía de sobra junto a unas cuantas flechas, oficialmente me convertí en Legolas, de hecho hasta mi peinado combinaba con él. Ahora sí podía contra todo, o al menos eso creía. Ocurrió una pequeña tragedia y es que en vez de nosotros acabar con los zombies, ellos acabaron con nosotros y se quedaron con nuestro hogar. Entraron y nunca quisieron salir, e intentando acabar con ellos morimos un montón de veces. Cada vez que morimos queda una tumba en el suelo, y existe la posibilidad de convertir un terreno en un cementerio si hay demasiadas tumbas juntas y fue lo que sucedió.
➤ Por tantas veces que morimos nuestra casa terminó convirtiéndose en un cementerio, esto lo que provoca es que incluso puedan aparecer los zombies de día para venir a atacarnos. La única forma de eliminar este efecto es destruyendo todas las tumbas del suelo, así que comencé a destruirlas con mi pequeño pico lo más rápido que podía.

➤ Algo que resultó muy chistoso e inesperado, es que uno de mis amigos tenía otro personaje muy bien equipado, según veo existe una lista de personaje que podemos tener y llenar de equipamiento en cualquier otro servidor o mundo, y entrar con este personaje a donde queramos junto a todos sus objetos, o bueno, eso fue lo que hizo mi amigo. Entró con un personaje con 400 de vida y un equipo brutal, una espada enorme que atacaba de forma mágica por toda la casa, llenando todo de destellos y brillos que realmente se veían bastante épicos, junto a los espadazos por todo el cielo. Fue algo muy extraño para mí, no pensé que existirían ese tipo de armas, pero ese me pone a pensar, ¿contra qué enemigos vamos a tener que usarla? Mis compañeros me contaron que existe una cantidad inmensa de jefes en Terraria, pero, por lo menos hasta ahora no he visto alguno.
➤ También existen NPC's dentro de este juego, que parece que según cada cierta cantidad de días irán yendo a nuestra casa y pueden ofrecernos distintos servicios, como vendernos objetos, curarnos o ayudarnos a crear nuevas cosas. Son los 3 NPC's que he visto hasta ahora, pero el más molesto fue el viejo cachondo que vende objetos, que primero que vende cosas ridículas a sobre precio, se robó mi silla. Para decorar nuestra pequeña casita hice una silla y una mesa donde me senté en un momento que fui a hacer algo, cuando vuelvo estaba el viejo sentado allí... Mi amigo y yo no dudamos en acabarlo para querer pararlo de ahí, aunque creo que no se puede matar al NPC.
➤ Mi otro compañero siempre se la pasaba metido en una cueva, intentando buscar todo tipo de recursos, al final siempre salía exitoso. Pero esta vez quise aventurarme yo para ir a acompañarlo y ver qué podía encontrar dentro de las cuevas, aparte de los típicos materiales. Esperaba encontrarme con algo asombroso, y así fue. Pero primero, antes del desastre, véanme a mí simplemente parado admirando la atmósfera de la cueva.
➤ Pues, resulta que no sé qué coño pasó, si fue un bug o algo similar pero pareciera que toda la estructura de la cueva había desaparecido, pensé que era algo normal y que simplemente iba a acceder a otra especie de ambiente dentro de la cueva, pero al tirarme comencé a caer hacia el vacío, sin llegar a ningún final, cayendo entre la oscuridad e intentando reaccionar acerca de qué coño había pasado. Hasta que me di cuenta que comencé a caer hacia el infierno, o el inframundo, realmente no sé lo que sea, pero mis amigos se quedaron locos pensando cómo coño lo hice, diciéndome que es algo bastante difícil y único, yo simplemente estaba tipo ok. Al final terminé cayendo hasta lo más bajo del infierno y morí, perdiendo todas mis monedas...

➤ Al final simplemente me decidí no aventurarme más a cuevas por ahora, quedé traumado, así que me quedé en la superficie ayudando a construir y decorar la casa. Mi amigo volvió de las cuevas y me trajo una radiante armadura de platino, he de decir que me veía bastante bien, aunque el casco era lo único que hacía ver mal a la armadura. No encontré alguna forma de desactivarlo o tenerlo puesto y que no se vea, no es como el WoW :(
➤ Pero todo fue bastante divertido, y el resultado final de nuestra casa fue más que hermoso, aunque se supone que aún falta mucho por construir. Para despedirnos simplemente nos quedamos en el techo viendo hacia la nada.

These types of games are a lot more fun with friends. I haven't gotten too far in Terraria when I played it, but my son beat the game.
Amazing, in case the game has an ending? I didn't know that. Terraria is a game that I consider that playing it alone loses almost all emotion and sense, it is as if it was rather indirectly designed to be enjoyed in company.
He beat all of the bosses or something. He did pretty much everything there was to do.

yo lo he jugado muchas veces descargándolo pirata, tantas veces que no lo quiero comprar en steam, y todas esas me quedo muy claro que el juego es una autentica locura.

Está bastante barato en Steam, más que todo cuando lo ponen en ofertas. Pero, la verdad es que tampoco tengo muchas ganas de jugar terraria en caso de hacerlo solo. Me gusta porque lo juego con mis amigos.
Yo no me lo he querido comprar porque pensé que ya no añadirían nada pero hay pequeños detalles que cambiaron desde la ultima vez que lo compre.
