Saludos chicos, en especial a esta comunidad que es una de mis favoritas y ahora mucho más que soy padre de Danna, y pues este es el sitio ideal para hablarles sobre ella y algunas curiosidades de nuestras vidas junto a ella.
Hoy quiero hablarles nuevamente de nuestra pequeña Danna Paola (dado que también tengo una tortuga en casa de mis padres); normalmente solo la llamo por su segundo nombre, pero en casa de mis padres suelen llamarle por su nombre completo.
Tal vez en las fotos no se note, pero ella ha estado creciendo bastante, y eso que dentro de dos días estará cumpliendo su segundo mes de vida.
En el post anterior de mi blog, les habia hablado un poco sobre mi sobreprotección hacia ella. Han pasado varios días de eso y creo que haberme sincerado y expuesto la situación con varias personas me ha ayudado un poco.
He estado viendo la situación un poco más con lógica, tomando en cuenta que efectivamente ella es un animal y que necesita un poco menos de restricciones y cuidado de mi parte. Ahora puedo dejar que mi madre la saque al patio un rato sin preocuparme, tambien que @joalgusa la saque a hacer sus necesidades a las afueras de la residencia sin tener que yo estar asomado en la puerta, en fin, va mermando un poco esas preocupaciones y conflictos internos por temor.
Ayer tuvimos que dar varias vueltas buscando su salsa de carne favorita, dado que he visto que come sin ganas y muy poco, y esto se debe al ocio de Jose que le compro ese sobre y ahora ella no quiere comer sus croquetas sin eso. Me he percatado que es un poco dificil conseguir ese producto, parece que es muy solicitado pues donde lo conseguimos solo habían dos, y es la segunda vez que lo hallamos en un farmatodo.
Parece ser que tiene un sabor muy agradable, y a pesar de ser un producto para caninos, no tiene un mal olor como suele ser casi siempre.
La cosa es que se vuelve loca, literalmente te grita para que le des su comida rápido, y en caso de no hacerlo llora e incluso ladra, algo que no nos esperábamos pues tiene pocos meses para hacer eso. A veces siento que su crecimiento en general es muy rápido, lo que me da un poquito de curiosidad, y es una de las cosas que estoy por preguntar a su veterinario cuando le toque la segunda dosis de su vacuna y desparasitación.
En cuanto a la adaptación de Danna en el sitio donde estamos viviendo, ha sido bastante calculado y con buenos resultados, a excepción que el dia de hoy la señora que nos alquila me pidió que recogiera el popo de Danna; yo la verdad no lo hacía dado que hay popo de su perra, pero una cosa es cierta y es lo que me dice mi pareja, nosotros no somos el dueño de casa, somos inquilinos. Pero a mi me da un tanto de coraje si les soy sincero, dado que el popo termina en las ruedas de nuestro carro y no son precisamente los de Danna.
Muchas veces quien nos alquila nos dice para dejar a Danna en la casa de concreto que tiene de su mascota, sin embargo, a mi no me gusta la idea de dejarla allí bajo ese sol y que nosotros estemos acostados riquísimo en el frio; mucho menos sabiendo que el calor la desespera; ella ama el frío.
Así que hemos sido lo bastante precavidos, mantenemos una limpieza diaria con desinfectante y otros productos, pero no solo eso, le tenemos a Danna una toallitas húmedas con que la limpiamos diariamente, desde sus patas hasta todo su cuerpo (menos la cara porque ese olor fuerte le da alergia).
En el caso de que ella esté en la habitación cuando nos toque dormir o descansar del día, tiene a su disposición estos cobertores absorbentes, y gracias a Dios que ella sabe utilizarlo muy bien, cuando siente ganas de hacer empieza a oler el piso en ciertas partes, y es justo allí donde nosotros le colocamos su cobertor.
He aquí la prueba... (lo siento Danna xD), y me disculpan el desorden pero ajam.
En cuanto a la adaptación con respecto a nuestros trabajos, pues ya saben que el mio es aquí en Hive, pero en el caso de Jose es distinto, ya que él tiene que atender pacientes. El posible problema pudiera darse en las noches cuando yo tengo que acompañarle a manejar, sin embargo, Danna no solo es una mascota inteligente, también es bastante tranquila. Mientras yo estoy en el auto esperando a Jose, ella esta en el asiento de copiloto durmiendo.
Nosotros nos tomamos muy seriamente su entrenamiento y educación por así decirlo. Nos gustaría que ella se sintiera cómoda en cualquier sitio y que las personas también lo estén. No estar preocupados porque haga sus necesidades en cualquier sitio, pero también evitamos que sea agresiva con alguien que no conozca, por eso Jose ha estado buscando videos que les da cierta tranquilidad y motiva su inteligencia.
Muchas veces nos ha tocado ir a Caripito, y siempre es lo mismo, en el camino se queda dormida en mis piernas mientras Jose maneja y cuando llegamos a casa de su hermana se pone a jugar con la pelota que le regaló su tío político (el sobrino de Jose). En estos días por cierto, fue su presentación de tesis, y Danna también acudió. Si ven la foto mientras él estaba presentando, Danna estaba durmiendo al lado de Jose; creo que ama su aroma, dado que suele siempre dormir a su lado o encima de él.
Nuestras almohadas suelen ser muy suaves e incluso la sabana con la que nos arropamos; Danna ama eso, así que nosotros siempre tenemos unos minutos con ella para que sienta nuestro amor un poco más directo. Cuando la vemos aburrida la subimos un rato a la cama para que juegue hasta que le sueño, o incluso dejamos que duerma al menos unos minutos con nosotros.
No nos preocupa las garrapatas ya que eso lo atendimos hace tiempo, ni mucho menos de que este sucia, pues como les habia mencionado antes, a pesar de que aún no podamos bañarla, ella se mantiene limpia con las toallas húmedas.
Criar a Danna ha sido una oportunidad maravillosa, yo la verdad estoy muy agradecido que las cosas se hayan dado bien desde inicio, pues por allí llegó a mis oídos una noticia que ya yo presentía en mi interior cuando nos iban a dar a Danna, sin embargo, puedo decir que no creo que NADIE de esas personas hubiesen criado y mimado tan bien a Danna como nosotros, nuestro amor es unico.

Today I want to tell you again about our little Danna Paola (since I also have a turtle at my parents' house); I usually just call her by her middle name, but at my parents' house they usually call her by her full name.
Maybe you can't see it in the pictures, but she's been growing a lot, and in two days she will be in her second month of life.
In my previous blog post, I told you a little bit about my overprotection towards her. It's been several days since then and I think that being honest and exposing the situation to several people has helped me a little bit.
I have been looking at the situation a little more logically, taking into account that she is indeed an animal and that she needs a little less restraint and care from me. Now I can let my mother take her out to the yard for a while without worrying, I can also let @joalgusa take her out to do her needs outside the residence without me having to be at the door, in short, it is diminishing a little those worries and internal conflicts due to fear.
Yesterday we had to go around several times looking for her favorite meat sauce, since I have seen that she eats unwillingly and very little, and this is due to the leisure of Jose who bought her that sachet and now she does not want to eat her croquettes without it. I have noticed that it is a little difficult to get this product, it seems that it is in high demand because where we got it there were only two, and this is the second time we found it in a farmatodo.
It seems to have a very pleasant taste, and despite being a product for canines, it does not have a bad smell as it usually is.
The thing is that she goes crazy, she literally screams at you to give her food fast, and if you don't, she cries and even barks, something we didn't expect since she is only a few months old to do that. Sometimes I feel that her growth in general is very fast, which makes me a little bit curious, and is one of the things I am about to ask her vet when she gets her second dose of vaccination and deworming.
As for Danna's adaptation in the place where we are living, it has been quite calculated and with good results, except that today the lady who rents from us asked me to pick up Danna's poop; I really didn't do it since there is poop from her dog, but one thing is true and that's what my partner tells me, we are not the owner of the house, we are tenants. But it makes me a bit angry if I'm honest, since the poop ends up in the tires of our car and it's not exactly Danna's. Many times the person who rents our house tells us that the poop ends up in the tires of our car.
Many times our renters tell us to leave Danna in their pet's concrete house, however, I don't like the idea of leaving her there under that sun and us lying there in the cold; much less knowing that the heat makes her desperate; she loves the cold.
So we have been cautious enough, we keep a daily cleaning with disinfectant and other products, but not only that, we have Danna a wet wipes with which we clean her daily, from her paws to her whole body (except her face because that strong smell makes her allergic).
In the case that she is in the room when it is our turn to sleep or rest from the day, she has these absorbent blankets at her disposal, and thank God that she knows how to use them very well, when she feels like doing she starts to smell the floor in certain parts, and it is right there where we put her blanket.
Here is the proof... (sorry Danna xD), and excuse the mess but yikes.
As for the adaptation regarding our jobs, you know that mine is here at Hive, but in Jose's case it is different, since he has to attend patients. The possible problem could be in the evenings when I have to drive with him, however, Danna is not only an intelligent pet, she is also quite calm. While I am in the car waiting for Jose, she is in the passenger seat sleeping.
We take her training and education very seriously so to speak. We would like her to be comfortable anywhere and for people to be comfortable as well. We don't worry about her doing her business anywhere, but we also want to avoid her being aggressive with anyone she doesn't know, so Jose has been looking for videos that give them some peace of mind and motivate her intelligence.
Many times we have had to go to Caripito, and it is always the same, on the way she falls asleep in my lap while Jose drives and when we get to her sister's house she starts playing with the ball that her uncle-in-law (Jose's nephew) gave her. These days by the way, it was his thesis presentation, and Danna also attended. If you see the picture while he was presenting, Danna was sleeping next to Jose; I think she loves his scent, since she always sleeps next to him or on top of him.
Our pillows are usually very soft and even the sheet we tuck ourselves in with; Danna loves that, so we always have a few minutes with her to let her feel our love a little more directly. When we see her bored we take her up to bed for a while to play until she gets sleepy, or even let her sleep at least a few minutes with us.
We are not worried about ticks since we took care of that a long time ago, and even less about her being dirty, because as I mentioned before, even though we still can't give her a bath, she keeps herself clean with wet towels.
Raising Danna has been a wonderful opportunity, I am really thankful that things went well from the beginning, because I heard the news that I had already felt inside when they were going to give us Danna, however, I can say that I don't think that ANY of those people would have raised and pampered Danna as well as we did, our love is unique.

Es bien notorio @roadstories cuan mimada tienes a Danna, en casa tenemos una cachorrita de 4 meses, estamos en proceso de adaptación después de tener doce años sin mascota todos los días ella y nosotros aprendemos algo nuevo.
Wow son muchos años sin mascota, yo creo que tengo como 5, no recuerdo ahora mismo. Pero luego de eso he sido más cuidadoso y si más cariñoso a punto de mimar extremamente a Danna.
Qué hermosa es Danna Paola😍 si la entrenan, ella va a aprender rápido y será una niña modelo. Ya veo que está muy consentida, me encanta cuando se suben a la cama para regalarnos sus cariñitos. Extraño eso de mis bebés peludos que ya no están en casa. Un abrazo, @roadstories.
El problema de entrenarla es que es demasiado floja xD a veces no puedo con su alma, ella no se acuesta a dormir, se tira en la cama, literalmente se deja caer AJAJAJA. Pero siempre nos conmueve su carita, básicamente nos manipula a veces.
Hola Road, me hiciste reír mucho con tu historia, estamos criando estos hijos del corazón. Cuando vi tu foto con Danna en la cama me hiciste acordar que este fin de semana tuve que cargar a mi gata Mara prácticamente sobre mi cabeza. Parece que ir en el carro le generaba muchos nervios y solo conseguía estarse quieta cuando se montaba en lo mas alto de mi asiento. así fue en todo el trayecto bajando y subiendo de higuerote. te puedes imaginar como estaba mi cuello? 🤣
