¡Hola comunidad de hive!, espero todos se encuentren muy bien y con ganas de aprender un poco sobre la vida de un gato, porque de eso les hablare hoy, sobre mi querido gato, una mascota a la cual le tengo mucho aprecio, cariño y amor. Pero, no, todo es color de rosas, ya que aquí les voy a relatar de la responsabilidad que es tener un gato y la dedicación que hay que darle.
First of all, I would like to introduce him, he is Lucas, he came into my life thanks to my partner, who had a cat before Lucas, but on a trip he made, when he returned home they realized that some thieves had entered their house and among them stole the cat, who in their right mind steals a cat? But well, that's the world we live in.
Primero que nada, me gustaría presentarlo, él es el Lucas, llego a mi vida gracias a mi pareja, la cual tenía un gato antes de Lucas, pero en un viaje que hizo, al regresar a su casa se dieron cuenta de que a su casa habían ingresado unos ladrones y entre eso se robaron al gato, ¿quién en su sano juicio se roba un gato? Pero bueno, es el mundo en el que vivimos.

Given the sadness that we were missing that free soul around the house, after some time of overcoming, my girlfriend and her family decided to adopt a new cat, and that's when Lucas came into my life, he was a kitten puppy which was very scared because he was a stray cat, we decided to adopt him and give him a home.
Dada la tristeza de que hacía falta esa alma libre por la casa, al tiempo de superación, mi novia y su familia decidieron adoptar a un nuevo gato, y es entonces cuando Lucas entra a mi vida, era un gatito cachorro el cual estaba muy asustado ya que era un gato callejero, decidimos adoptarlo y darle un hogar.

As he grew up, Lucas adapted to the place, he began to get fond of the people in the house, to be more fun and somehow he felt safe surrounded by people who gave him affection and he knew it, although I must admit, he became the most loved living being in the house, so much so that, if he doesn't get what he wants, he becomes an annoying cat, but it doesn't matter, that's how we love him.
Al tiempo que fue creciendo, Lucas fue adaptándose al lugar, empezó a agarrarle cariño a las personas de la casa, a ser más divertido y de alguna manera se sentía seguro rodeado de personas que le daban cariño y él lo sabía, aunque debo admitirlo, se convirtió en el ser vivo más querido de la casa, tanto así que, si no obtiene lo que quiere, se vuelve un gato molesto, pero no importa, así lo queremos.

Although it was growing and becoming more and more affectionate with us, the time came when the cat was becoming an adult, and that is where the tedious and difficult part of having a cat comes in. Cats in their adult stage usually get desperate because their hormones start to go on a rampage, so they become rebellious, aggressive and even leave the house for hours or even days.
A pesar de que fue creciendo y siendo cada vez más cariñoso con nosotros, llego la época en la que el gato se estaba volviendo un adulto, y es ahí en donde entra la parte tediosa y difícil de tener un gato. Los gatos en su etapa adulta por lo general, se desesperan dado a que sus hormonas empiezan a alborotarse, por lo que se vuelven rebeldes, agresivos e incluso se van de la casa durante horas e incluso días.
Thanks to this growing stage, we had a lot of problems with Lucas, as he would leave the house and we would worry a lot about things that could happen to him, whether it was a car on a road, some other gangsta cats or even repeat history, a cat burglar.
Gracias a esta etapa de crecimiento, tuvimos muchos problemas con Lucas, ya que se iba de la casa y nos preocupábamos mucho de las cosas que podían pasarle, ya sea un auto en una carretera, algunos otros gatos pandilleros o incluso repetir la historia, un ladrón de gatos.
In spite of the worries, Lucas always came back when he was hungry, since we always had liver in the house, one of his favorite foods, but when we tried to lock him in so he wouldn't go out, he would get desperate meowing and would always find a way to get out.
A pesar de las preocupaciones, Lucas siempre volvía cuando tenía hambre, ya que en la casa siempre le teníamos hígado, una de sus comidas favoritas, pero cuando intentábamos encerrarlo para que no saliera se desesperaba maullando y encontraba siempre la forma de salir.
This problem had a solution, but that solution could not come yet, because for Lucas not to feel the need to go out in the street, we had to do an operation with the veterinarian which was very expensive and we did not have the money.
Este problema tenía una solución, pero esa solución aun no podía llegar, ya que para que Lucas no sintiera la necesidad de salir a la calle, debíamos hacerle una operación con el veterinario la cual era muy costosa y no teníamos el dinero.
They were difficult days, in which Lucas was leaving more and more, even once we thought he would not come back, but, making an effort for him because we were very fond of him, we managed to do the operation.
Fueron días difíciles, en los que Lucas cada vez se iba más y más, incluso una vez hasta pensamos que no regresaría, pero, al hacer un esfuerzo por él ya que le teníamos mucho cariño, se logró hacerle la operación.
When he woke up from the operation his first impulse was to look for the street again, but when he saw that he did not feel any desire to be with cats, he returned to his home, where he realized that he was comfortably happy, and to this day he has been so, he has returned to be the fun loving cat and he has no need to look for the street, since in our home he finds his favorite food, love, affection, and the best attention that a cat can need.
Al despertar de la operación su primer impulso fue buscar la calle de nuevo, pero al ver que no sentía nada de deseo por estar con gatas, se devolvió a su casa, en la cual se dio cuenta que era cómodamente feliz, y hasta el sol de hoy ha sido así, volvió a ser el gato divertido cariñoso y que no tiene la necesidad de buscar la calle, ya que en nuestro hogar encuentra su comida preferida, amor, cariño, y la mejor atención que un gato puede necesitar.
