Especialmente a mí, la época navideña es mi temporada favorita, amo el mes de diciembre, me encanta el ambiente y todos los momentos especiales que se viven durante ella.
Especially me, the Christmas season is my favorite season, I love the month of December, I love the atmosphere and all the special moments that are lived during it.
Cada año a partir de mediados del mes de noviembre mi mamá y yo tenemos la tradición de adornar nuestra hermosa, pequeña y acogedora casa de navidad. Colocamos y adornamos el árbol, reemplazamos los adornos comunes por los navideños y también colocamos luces.
Every year starting in the middle of November, my mom and I have a tradition of decorating our beautiful, cozy little house for Christmas. We put up and decorate the tree, we replaced the common decorations with Christmas decorations, and we also placed lights.
Armar y decorar nuestro árbol de navidad es algo que me encanta y disfruto hacer, poner a prueba mi creatividad y adornar el árbol de manera que luzca hermoso, es un reto todos los años, ya que me considero una persona perfeccionista. Debo admitir que obtengo ayuda e ideas de mi querida mamá, como dije en el principio, esto se trata de una tradición de ambas.
Putting together and decorating our Christmas tree is something that I love and enjoy doing, putting my creativity to the test and decorating the tree so that it looks beautiful, it is a challenge every year, since I consider myself a perfectionist person. I must admit that I get help and ideas from my dear mom, as I said in the beginning, this is a tradition of both.
En este año, decidimos decorar nuestro preciado árbol de colores dorados y rojos, típicos colores navideños, con lindos peluches tales como Santa, el muñeco de nieves, renos, ositos y más. Decidimos cambiar la típica estrella del copo del árbol por flores doradas con ramas rojas, le colocamos muchísimas luces coloridas; sin duda alguna el resultado fue belleza para nuestros ojos.
This year, we decided to decorate our precious tree in gold and red, typical Christmas colors, with cute stuffed animals such as Santa, the snowman, reindeer, teddy bears and more. We decided to change the typical star of the tree flake for golden flowers with red branches, we placed many colorful lights on it; without a doubt the result was beauty for our eyes.
Todo esto lo hacemos mientras escuchamos, bailabamos y cantabanos con fuerte volumen muestras gaitas venezolanas, música alegre y llena de emoción.
We do all this while we listen, dance and sing to us with strong volume Venezuelan bagpipes, happy music and full of emotion.
He crecido con esta tradición navideña en mi hogar; desde pequeña he tenido navidades mágicas, llenas de amor y alegría, acompañada con las personas que más quiero y adoro en mi vida, deleitando los exquisitos platos navideños, escuchando las gaitas que suenan en cada ricón, admirando las luces, los adornos, saboreando las bebidas típicas de esta época tal como lo es la ponche crema y sobretodo disfrutando en familia. Y pensar que detrás de todo esto, está el gran esfuerzo de mis padres, que gracias a ellos y todo su amor, han lograron y siguen logrando a pesar de que ya no soy una niña, hacerme inmensamente feliz y tener hoy en día este hermoso espíritu navideño.
I have grown up with this Christmas tradition in my home; Since I was little I have had magical Christmases, full of love and joy, accompanied by the people I love and adore the most in my life, delighting the exquisite Christmas dishes, listening to the bagpipes that sound in each corner, admiring the lights, the ornaments, savoring the Typical drinks of this time such as cream punch and especially enjoying with the family. And to think that behind all this, there is the great effort of my parents, who thanks to them and all their love, have achieved and continue to achieve despite the fact that I am no longer a girl, make me immensely happy and today have this beautiful Christmas spirit.
La navidad sin duda alguna es momento para darnos un tiempo de compartir, disfrutar y amar.
