Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They're by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today's reading is for the week of March 10th 2020.
Quick aside for a moment - yes, apologies for being a bit late with this post today. Things have been a bit topsy turvy here the past few days, particularly since hubby has just returned to work yesterday, for the first time since his shoulder surgery in October. He's still not 100%, but we're hopeful he'll continue to heal well & be back at full speed over the next month or so. Many thanks again to everyone who shouted out with words of encouragement after his original injury all the way back in August (wow, has it really been that long?).
Also, for those of you who follow me on Twitter and are wondering why I'm tweeting like a woman possessed (more than usual...lol), please check out my post from Friday called, Why I’m blowing up my Twitter feed with the #Steem #HostileTakeover. The tl;dr version is - #Tron owner @justinsunsteemit bought the Steemit app (cool) then proceeded to launch a hostile takeover of the entire Steem network (wicked not cool). The Steem community responded in an unprecedented show of solidarity to block the takeover, and we're currently locked in a stalemate. Never a dull momnent on the blockchain!
Now, to get on with the reading! The method of doing these is not my original idea - I was inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them, here's a quick breakdown on how this works...
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!When you've decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don't be worried if you don't happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to mention...
Here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself - whatever you need to do to focus. When you're ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.
Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don't see the picture of the front of the cards before you've made your choice, I'm putting a graphic here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. In honor of the glorious full moon that arrived yesterday, I thought I'd reshare this quoto I created a couple of years ago...

1. Two of Pentacles
Juggling act. On the one hand, you have your passion – on the other, your responsibilities. You need to make sure you’re giving enough time, energy, and attention to both. I tend to draw this card when I need to reassess how I’m getting things done (or not), and refocus my priorities. There are some stormy seas behind you, but if you manage to keep your balls in the air a little longer, help will arrive. Like the Little River Band says, "Are you always in confusion? Surrounded by illusion? Sort it out. You'll make out. Seem to make a good beginning, someone else ends up winning. Don't seem fair? Don't you care. Hang on. Help is on its way."
Tarot Tidbit: The Two of Pentacles was last seen, in the second position, almost exactly nine months ago on June 11th, 2019.
2. King of Wands
Take Charge Time. You have the intelligence, you have the determination. Now point that wand in the direction you want to go, and don’t even think about wavering from your path until you get to your destination. See that itty bitty little salamander in the bottom right corner of the card? Think of it as a baby dragon (since salamanders are associated with fire), who just needs encouragement and direction. Soon it will be a fiercesome force to be reckoned with, and you will be as formidable as the Mother of Dragons.
Tarot Tidbit: The King of Wands was last seen, also in the second position, just last month on February 4th 2019.
3. Three of Wands
Expand your horizons. You've done the preliminary leg work, and soon you will see the fruits of your labors. However, now that you've taken those steps, don't assume this is it – there could still be other opportunities out there. Take a moment to look at the bigger picture. Keep an open mind, stay aware, and be confident. It's time to, "Take your passion/And make it happen!"
Tarot Tidbit: The Three of Wands was last spotted a couple of months ago, in the second position, on January 7th, 2020.
