Danggit is rabbitfish. I actially did not know its English name until I was writing my review that I searched for it. It is very popular in the southern part of the country specially in Cebu City. It has become like an icon of Cebu.

I am not sure about a regular fish. I also did not know about danggit until one of my colleagues mentioned that it is very common in Cebu City. When I asked a customer who was based in there, he sent me pack to try. It was good!
Rabbitfish sounds more unusual to me. How can a rabbit be a fish? 😂
