Photo of a sewing machine.
This sewing machine would probably not exist in the future and the only place to see it is in a museum some day. Times have changed and the future waits for no one. A lot of the current technological advances would one day end up in a contemporary museum.
I have one of these still at home in my store room and my mom knows how to operate it. Leg pedals power the sewing machine. No electrical energy required at all. In the past this was a lucrative sector of the economy but since then have been replaced by automated machines.
This is the makers market which is where alot of the products made here are by makers. It is where makers meet and get their creations exposed. If you want to know where this is, it is in Ximending, Taipei, Taiwan.
