Yes! I'm diversifying my portfolio by adding Gold, Cryptocurrency and now Silver!

Over the years, I have always wondered if silver can be as valuable as gold. Did my DYOR and it turned out, silver can be quite valuable too!

One thing I totally like about silver is that it is quite affordable to own and save. However, be cautious, I found that it is either dirham silver or bullion bar silver are the ones that hold value.

This is bullion bar silver.

This is a dirham silver bar.

The downside of silver is that only authorized companies can sell dirham and bullion bar. Hence, buyers must ensure to find the authorized shops.

Another downside of silver is that the fees of selling bullion type of silver are applicable.

Silver savings added!

After all the research, I decided to add silver saving as one of my portfolios. I'm glad I did because after all, it's more towards long term investment.

Basic comparison between gold and silver

By far, the thing I loved most about both is the fact that it can be used as emergency cash in the event the economy crash. Though silver holds smaller value than gold, that makes it more affordable to own one.

I keep saying affordable because I found that 10gram of dirham silver costs around $36 (not bad right?) and it seems now is a good time to buy one.

Apart from that, I found in Malaysia there is only one company sells silver via online and that is Public Gold. I'm glad they have a branch nearby.

Therefore, I would like to keep saving until I reach the financial freedom getaway (hopefully soon).

In the meantime, join me and let's keep accumulating because it is a powerful tool!
