Here is it! The 2 Hive Transfer-to-Saving daily for the whole month of August! Essentially, it is just a self-challenge to transfer 2 Hive into the Hive Saving each day which now has become another routine to hold Hive and to grow me more in this blockchain!
To be honest, I feel really happy to be able to keep some handful of Hive into the Hive Savings although this feature is rarely or perhaps unused at all. I've been through a lot of Hive wallet and I can say none of them kept any in Hive Savings. Mostly prefers keeping it in the liquidated Hive. Of course, that would be the obvious thing to do since it is easier to move your Hive.
I have been doing this challenge for the month of July and I am really excited to be able to complete them. Now, August is going to be an exciting month not only to create content but saving some Hive in the Hive Saving too. For August, I've raised the stake to 2 Hive daily. That would give me a total of 61 Hives saved into the Hive Savings.
The reasons why Hive Savings is unpopular?
I think this question is quite straightforward to point. The 3 days withdraw period of time. It might seem to look like a short period of waiting time, but time is gold and users like to move their Hive instantly. Besides that, there is no point keeping Hive since there is no profit gained.
Moving forward
Ever since starting this challenge, one thing got me thinking, Can we give reward on the Hive saved in the Hive Saving? Or Can we make a profit interest on Hive in the savings?
I have been digging this information and have not found anything related except two content which are Hive Stacking Rewards, Can we make it better? and Hive Stacking Rewards. Both contents highlight the need to reward stacked Hive on top of rewarding stacked Hive Power/Vests.
This might be significant with the model of Fixed Deposit, where a certain amount of Hive saved and a user can gain profit throughout the time agreed upon too. This might be entirely new to the blockchain and can attract investors too.

i don't get why you would place it into savings ... the savings function was created to so called "safeguard" your liquid in the event your account is compromised.
I do suggest an alternative approach ... use the services of @tipu .. you can sign in at https://tipu.online/hive and in your investment you can set to payout every 24 hours or Auto Reinvest ...
It was pure fun and out of curiousity using that function.
