People were given technology but they weren't educated on how to use it in a healthy way. People should remind themselves that technology is here to serve us, not the opposite. Although, history has shown us that people are addicted to tech just because they are. That is not good and we must find a way to distance ourselves from tech when we don't need it (even if we're passionate about it, like I am), and instead, look around and talk to each others.
