There is a band that etched its name in Rock-n-Roll history with one song that to this day - is still highly recognized around the world. It is used in remixes, has had movies named after it, and is still in the top 100 greatest rock songs of all time. 46 years ago, the Troggs reached number one on the charts with their song 'Wild Thing'. If there was a Bull in Durham with number 99 on the mound? If there was something you wanted to do after the club? Maybe your heart just sings when it pulls your string. Either way, there is no denying Where the Wild Things Are. (They're here😜)

We now honor those that are using our family tag - #thealliance. These 'history' posts are getting some attention as I also include my three picks for the time period between posts. The three creators are beneficiaries of these posts. What would be a good number for today? Since Tone Loc set the bar for singles reaching number 2 and number 3 with both 'Wild Thing' and 'Funky Cold Medina' being the first 2 rap singles to go platinum, we'll do 23. Neither of them hit number one and ransacked the charts like the Troggs, but they were up there and were probably partly inspired by the classic rock smash hit.
