A lively, turn-rich, funny, silly and laughing play all the way through. Super evening relaxation after a long day of work. We can see Neil Simon's farce entitled Gossip Nest in the performance of the Veres1 Theater, directed by Sándor Nagy. The story in brief: The deputy mayor will host a dinner on the occasion of their tenth wedding anniversary. Neither the hostess nor the staff are present in the house. When the first guests arrive, a shot rumbles, triggering a series of secrets and gossip between the ever-arriving couples to avoid scandal. And when the police also show up on the scene, the world is completely upside down. They trigger a series of delicate questions, guesses and rumors, humorous dialogues and funny situations in seemingly suspicious situations. The piece holds a surprising turn even at the last minute. There is not a boring scene in it. The most ridiculous for me is the crystal scene, the dance scene and the monologue of Alexander the Great, on which the audience laughed specifically for minutes. The performance can not only be seen in Veresegyháza. The company has already performed this and other pieces in front of a packed house in many theaters and festivals across the country. It’s worth looking into where they go next.
