This reminds me of a handmade sword I owned once, a Katana made by a Japanese swordsmith, over 8000 layers of folded steel, and a dragon carved into the scabbard. Hilt wrapped in royal purple silk. Unfortunately for a number of reasons I had to find it a new home.
