Being in Slovenia, I could not help visiting her alpine part. Therefore, after Ljubljana, I went to the lake Bohinj located in the Alps.
This is not the place where you will be totally alone with the wild nature: the place is quite popular, but still not enough to prevent you from enjoying the feeling of serenity that floods the air above the lake.
We took a small boat and swam away from the shore to swing on light waves, to breathe the air so delicious that you literally want to eat it with a spoon, and of course to swim. Water is certainly not like a fresh milk (it's still a mountain lake), but very pleasant for swimming. After the hot July Ljubljana, it was so nice to plunge into the warm, but fresh atmosphere of Bohinj.
Here you can also ride a bicycle, climb rocks, or just walk around the lake (if you have a few hours to spare you can, for example, go see the waterfall), but for all this, alas, I did not have time. I could be sad about this if the next day I did not have to go to the city, which subdued my heart at first sight with a feeling of childlike delight, creative inspiration, lightness and beauty ...
