Nami island is almost 2 hours by train-ferry/zip to reach from Seoul city. We started from Anguk station to Gapyeong, 10 minutes snack break then 5 minutes taxi ride to the ferry terminal. One of the film location shot by a popular Korean drama.
Philippines was captivated during evening Primetime tv viewing when the Korean drama’s introduced and tagalized. Became popular during year 2000 after first season showed, second season was played immediately titled WINTER SONATA. This was the beginning of Korean wave not just in my home country but to other Asian neighbor as well.
Not a typical love story but the fast-pacing episodes will hook you and the scenery adds justice to this film. Due to this popularity, they made this location a tourist destination as a lot of visitors have known Korea a beautiful place because of this.
My wife’s second trip in Seoul, she made sure this time with me will be able to visit the place and reminisce some heartwarming scenes of Winter Sonata.
Visited on the last month of winter season in February 2018 and not on a sunny weather during that day. I tried reaching the island by zip line and my wife via ferry. Still a lot of visitors during that day and I suggest to go very early as half day would not be enough to spend around the island.
This place makes a perfect spot for prenup shoots and also fit for a family trip. I hope you enjoyed some photos shared here for steemians.
