I have written about this open-air museum before, but mainly about buildings from various regions, mainly Silesia. Today, however, I will tell you a little about a walk that took place in the summer, and its main point was not the museum buildings themselves, but the sculptor and his work.
Pisałem już kiedyś o tym skansenie, ale głównie o zabudowaniach pochodzących z różnych regionów głównie Śląska. Dzisiaj jednak opowiem trochę o spacerze, który odbył się jeszcze latem, a głównym jednak jego punktem nie były same muzealne zabudowania, ale rzeźbiarz i jego twórczość.
This is quite an unusual place, because the sculptor is not a substitute, but an authentic creator. Anyway, the whole open-air museum deviates a bit from the convention of a museum, because animals are bred and plants are grown there.
To dość nietypowe miejsce, bo rzeźbiarz nie jest podstawiony, tylko jest autentycznym twórcą. Zresztą cały skansen odbiega trochę od konwencji muzeum, bo hoduje się w nim zwierzęta i uprawia rośliny.

This beautiful exhibition of sculptures, and there are over 700 of them, are the works of the sculptor Franciszek Wojtowicz. His works depict characters appearing in the world of tales, songs, folk tales, mainly from the region of Silesia.
Ta piękna ekspozycja rzeźb, a jest ich ponad 700 to prace rzeźbiarza Franciszka Wojtowicza. Jego prace przedstawiają postacie pojawiające się w świecie podań, pieśni, bajek ludowych, głównie z regionu Śląska.
The Sculpture Gallery is not only a point on the tourist map, where, of course, we can buy a sculpture after price negotiations. Sculpture workshops are organized here throughout the year.
Galeria Rzeźby to nie tylko punkt na mapie turystycznej, gdzie oczywiście możemy kupić rzeźbę po negocjacjach cenowych. W tym tez miejscu przez cały rok organizowane są warsztaty rzeźbiarskie.
Paying a small amount (preferably in organized groups) we will learn the rules of this craft, the species of wood from which sculptures are best made and what tools to use for this purpose. Of course, the whole thing ends with a small practical test, where we can assess our artistic abilities.
Płacąc niewielką kwotę, (najlepiej w grupach zorganizowanych) poznamy zasady tego rzemiosła, gatunki drzewo z jakich najlepiej wykonuje się rzeźby oraz jakich narzędzi do tego celu używać. Oczywiście całość kończy się małym sprawdzianem praktycznym, gdzie możemy ocenić swoje zdolności artystyczne.
However, you cannot walk around the open-air museum without returning to the beautiful buildings from different regions of Silesia and from different periods. These are pearls of rural architecture from the areas of the Silesian Beskids, Cieszyn Foothills, Pszczyńsko-Rybnickie, Bytomsko-Tarnogórski and Lublinieckie. When I walk around the open-air museum, I always think about the beautiful Polish countryside.
Nie można jednak spacerując po skansenie nie wrócić do pięknej zabudowy z różnych regionów Śląska i z różnych okresów. To perełki architektury wiejskiej z obszarów Beskidu Śląskiego, Pogórza Cieszyńskiego, Pszczyńsko-Rybnickiego, Bytomsko-Tarnogórskiego, Lublinieckie. Ja zawsze spacerując po skansenie myślami jestem na pięknej wsi polskiej.
A beautiful windmill from the village of Grzawa from the first half of the 19th century, after renovation, looks as if it was built a few years ago.
Piękny wiatrak z miejscowości Grzawa z pierwszej połowy XIX wieku po odnowieniu wygląda jakby postawiono go kilka lat temu.
The must-see attractions also include the beautiful Church of Saint Joseph the Worker. This Roman Catholic building was built in the village of Nieboczowy on the Oder River and dates back to 1791. However, the foundation of this church was a chapel from 1380. The facility has undergone many changes, but the interior is breathtaking.
Do atrakcji które trzeba zobaczyć należy również piękny Kościół świętego Józefa Robotnika. Ten rzymskokatolicki obiekt powstał we wsi Nieboczowy nad Odrą, a jego powstanie datuje się na 1791 rok. Jednak fundament tego kościoła stanowiła kaplica z 1380 roku. Obiekt przechodził wiele zmian, ale wnętrze zapiera dech w piersiach.
