Ban Mae Kampong is a small village amidst the green jungle. It’s located in Chiang Mai province, in the North of Thailand.
The purity and abundance of nature and the spectacular view makes Ban Mae Kampong (Ban means village) to be one of the popular tourist natural attractions that many people want to visit once in their life.
You will touch the fresh air from the jungle and mountains and experience the interesting way of life of the villagers who live very close to nature.
All of the houses, souvenir shops, restaurants were built with natural materials; i.e. wood, bamboo, etc.
One of the most popular shops that provide food and drinks is “Ban Rim Huay Lung Pud and Pa Peng”. It’s located in the heart of Mae Kampong Village.

Most people stop by to take pictures because it’s an old wooden shop that is quite unique and it’s decorated with natural materials that are really impressive.
Moreover, it’s located beside the stream so the atmosphere is very nice.
As you can see, the surrounding nature at Ban Mae Kampong is fascinating and charming.....
