As there are many interesting things and beautiful buildings in Wat Uposatharam, refer to my post,
https://ecency.com/architecture/@tangmo/a-bicycle-and-magnificent-sunset-at-wat-uposatharam-in-uthai-thani-province-thailand, I would like to show you more new photos of this temple today.

As I said before, if you love architecture, you would certainly love this temple.

The Viharn and other buildings, including the white pagodas with various styles and shapes, are attractive with magnificent architecture.

The mural paintings both outside and inside of the Viharn are marvelous.

They described well the story of Buddhism and the ways of life of our Thai local people in the old days via the arts.

The paintings may look old, but they are valuable for history and especially for our minds.

The golden Buddha statues with the standing and sitting poses are beautiful and look sacred.

We, as Buddhists, normally use beautiful lotus for paying homage to the Buddha statues.

Especially on significant Buddhism Days, we decorate the banana trees with money and other decorations beautifully for making worship to the Buddha statues. (you may notice part of them from the photo.)

In the below photo, you will see the ancient wooden boat with a beautiful design. It's the boat that our ancient King used for the visit to this temple in ancient times.

It’s said that this was over 100 years ago.

Oh! It’s incredible that this boat is still in good condition. It’s well preserved indeed.

There are plenty of colorful garlands that people used for worship to the boat as well.

As I told you in my mentioned post, this temple is situated beside the river, it has a nice atmosphere, especially when the sun’s going down, the river looks calm and peaceful....

That is another nice temple in Thailand. I wish we can travel back there again soon. How is it the situation there @tangmo? It is nice to find your article now and then in this platform, because it shows that you are healthy.
I have been getting bad news constantly from my homeland, that made me sad somehow..even if I must still be grateful that my closest family members are still fine.

First of all, thanks so much for your nice comment and for your kind concern about me and the situation in Thailand. I hope to welcome all of you to Thailand again soon, too. Ah! I'm trying very hard to survive nowadays....

I'm sorry about your homeland and glad to know that your closest family members are still fine.

We also face bad situations in Thailand.... Over 100 people died each day, meanwhile, people had infections of over 10,000 each day even though some provinces, including Bangkok and my province, had been locked down in the past 14 days and will continue to be locked down for the next 14 days. (these include some more provinces.) It seems that we can get the infections every minute and we may die from COVID-19 at any time so we must be careful and strictly stay at home except for going to the supermarket for some necessities. My mother is very old now (89 years old), I am much concerned about her. Even though she stays in my brother's condominium room all day long, I'm afraid I may bring COVID-19 to her someday. (I have to go to stay with her whenever my brother has to go out for some necessities.)

Apart from COVID-19, we also faced some problems in the political situation. Most people are not satisfied with the current government (especially with their management about the vaccination) and gather on the road (car mobs) in almost every province to ask for the change of the Prime Minister. The polices sometimes used violent attacks on the protesters by shooting tear gas and rubber bullets at the protesters and arrest some people.

These are so sad situations that we faced now in Thailand.

Many thanks again for asking. Wishing you and your warm family to stay safe and healthy! 😍
