Wat Rong Khun, a beautiful white temple in Chiang Rai

Wat Rong Khun is another temple I presented to you in my old post a long time ago. Today, I would like to share further details and new photos.

Wat Rong Khun is located in Chiang Rai province, in the North of Thailand. You may recognize it as the “White Temple” as almost everything in Wat Rong Khun was created in white color.

From my understanding, white represents purity.

Wat Rong Khun acts as the artworks gallery so there is no monk in the temple.

There are many amazing artworks to see; i.e. the buildings, the bridge, the fountains, the sculptures, etc.

The colorful sculptures of the amazing monsters were added recently.

They were created neatly by one of the famous artists of Thailand, Chalermchai Kositpipat. He is also the owner of this temple.

If you love to see magnificent architecture and marvelous arts, Wat Rong Khun will not disappoint you.
