With the unique arts, amazing sculptures, and magnificent architecture, Wat Rong Khun is considered to be one of the most famous temples in Thailand.
It is located in Chiang Rai province, in the North of Thailand.
The buildings and sculptures in this temple were built completely in brilliant white color. (white is implied for the purity of Buddhism; you can touch the pure feeling via these white buildings.) These are unique and unusual as most temples in Thailand are in golden color.
They look elegant and really beautiful. I think these things make the temple look as if it is in paradise or in a fairy tale.
There is no monk in this temple, so this temple acts as an art gallery of Buddhism in the open air. The main purpose of this temple is for the attraction of tourists.
For me, I also love that there is a nice pond surrounding the buildings.
It makes the area looks much more relaxing and refreshing. The reflection on the water is always my favorite.

In the below building, there is a small sacred pond that you can pray for your wishes or good luck....
At the Dhamma garden, there are a few buildings that were built in golden color and not white. They are also beautiful as well.
