Our last day of our short vacation in Austria was blessed with wonderfull weather. Even in summer there are days where the road around Austrias highest mountain - the Großglockner (3798 meters) - is closed due to ice and snow. But not today.

Usually the glacier reaches far more down, but due to rising temperatures snow and ice go back more and more each year. Sad :(
At this point also some credits to my Alfa Romeo Stelvio who carried us safe (and fast) about 2000km through Austria, Italy and over many many meters above sea level.
We closed our last evening with some fancy drinks a delicious steak.
Stupid me forgot to note down the recipe of the cocktail. Something with berries and Champaign.
Our next trip usually starts in November targeting destinations like Abu Dhabi or some islands far away but I fear that covid will decide other ways for us :/
