Located in the Lara State, in Venezuela. At 1600 meters above sea level, Cubiro is located, the beginning or the end of the Andes mountain range; it is something that is not yet defined. A place full of anecdotes and stories that its inhabitants often tell visitors with enthusiasm. The weather is usually cold, which is the main attraction for tourists escaping the hustle and bustle of nearby cities. considering that the type of climate in the State where it is located is mostly hot. But thanks to its location in the heights and the cold is present mostly in the mornings and nights.

The houses usually have a rustic look. They have floral decorations and also in clay. This type of construction is very common in the area and they turn out to be the most welcoming houses in the area. Even the hostal and hotels with this style are the most demanded.

As an example I leave here a couple of photos of my mother's house, she has been coming to town for 9 years, and her house is as I describe it.

It is said that a town and even a country is what it is because of its people, since without them it is a piece of land. This happens with Cubiro Let's not kid ourselves. Fortunately Cubiro retains its charm, it is undeniable that the crisis that has plagued Venezuela for many years did much damage to the tourism that kept these towns alive. However, the locals still have a reputation for friendliness, and whenever they have the opportunity to deal with the few tourists who rarely visit the area, they treat them as in the best years.
