Hi there everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here! Can you believe it? We've reached the 888th edition of the #traveldigest today! I have to say that's quite a milestone, that we've been curating practically non stop for nearly three years. Of course, we have to say a big thanks to everyone for supporting the map, otherwise, we would have nothing to curate!!

🥇 Trekking to the Beldersay Petroglyphs, Uzbekistan by @damm-steemit

The age of these petroglyphs varies between 6 and 10 thousand years and they are attributed to the Neolithic era. Weather conditions affecting the safety of drawings make it difficult to determine their exact age. One thing is clear - these drawings still need to be studied and will be studied by specialists. And protect them from the vandals, who still manage to get here.

🥈 Travelfeed - Photography - Turkmen Waterfall by @xxxthorxxx

Turkmen Waterfall stands like a pearl in untouched nature ... As a timing, I recommend you to choose the spring and autumn months. Frankly, the summer was quite hot. Apart from that, it is very far from the city, so you better take everything with you. It is not a good location for those who want a barbecue and daily nature visitors. But I must say it's a great place for campers and trekkers.

🥉 Urbex Photography: eerie ruins of Monte Palace Hotel on Sao Miguel Island by @phortun

For a couple of years following the closure, the hotel was guarded by a security with aggressive dogs so it was impossible for anyone to get it but when the owners stopped paying the security, they left and the hotel was left at the mercy of raiders. Soon, everything valuable was stolen and the hotel fell into disrepair. These days, it´s pretty much just a massive, eerie skeleton of what once used to be a grandiose and lavish building.
