Saludos querida comunidad, hoy les traigo un paseo por el casco antiguo del faro (Portugal), en la época de la esclavitud se convirtió en el puerto importante del país, centro del comercio y en la segunda guerra mundial refugio para los judíos, además de ser el centro-este geográfico del Algarve y su capital, Faro tiene mucho que ofrecer más allá de sus paseos en barco por la ría Formosa, tiene su casco histórico bastante compacto, por lo que te resulta muy sencillo recorrerlo por sus calles con caminerias de piedras. Saliendo del faro nos dirigimos a un molino de agua abandonado, en su época de operatividad se amarraba un asno al palo para que comenzara a girar con unas ruedas de piedra y así sacaban el agua del pozo.
Leaving the lighthouse, we went to an abandoned water mill, when it was in operation, a donkey was tied to the pole so that it would begin to turn with stone wheels and thus they would draw the water from the well.
