Hello Steemians and welcome back!

Today I'm trying posting from the TravelFeed platform, so hopefully this post comes out without any glitches, as this is my first time using this editor, so fingers crossed!

Today I wanted to share my recent adventure up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire!

We ended up deciding last minute to head up. We saw the weather and knew it was probably going to snow pretty good the next day, so I made sure my friends knew what they would be in for. They said bring it, and then next thing we hit the night time road to head 2 hours North to the mountains!

Once up there, we grabbed some food, headed to the house, played a few games, watched a bit of a movie and then headed to bed to be ready and rested for the next day.

I woke up well before dawn in hopes of catching an amazing sunrise, but the storm was already upon us and the sky was gray. So I headed back to bed and decided to get a few extra hours of sleep.

Alright, this time is it. It's go time. I got everyone up, got our bags packed and out the door to grab a quick breakfast, and then off to the Notch and our first hike of the day, the Flume Gorge!

As we pulled into the Notch, the rain turned to snow as the temperature dropped. We parked, got out, and hiked into the trail that leads to the flume.

We crossed the covered bridge, and then hiked down to the river below for a quick peek....and a selfie :)

From there we continued up the snowy path towards the gorge. As we got closer, I thought I saw something moving in the gorge, so I ran up and found some ice climbers!

So awesome to watch them scaling the sides of the gorge! But we had other places to hit before the snow got too heavy, so we headed back, and then up another route to check out the other side of the gorge before heading back to the car. But first, a few friend portraits.

From there, we headed to our next stop, the Basin for a few waterfalls and then up another trail to one of my favorite waterfalls in the area, Kinsman falls!

But there's a few more falls on the way before you get there, such as this one, though it's mostly covered in snow and ice.

And then after a little more hiking, we made it!

And then we noticed the snow getting much heavier and realized we better make our way back, ASAP. But first, epic selfies :)

Then we headed back towards the car.

So we got back to the car, the snow is really coming down now, and we decide to try one last quick hike before calling it a day, Artist's Bluff!

It's a really quick hike usually, a bit more when it's all snowy, but we got up pretty quick, and......it was all socked in from the storm, but I still managed to get a few cool shots.

After that, we made our way back to the car once again and called it a day as the snow continued to pile up around us. It was a quick trip, and we didn't cover as much ground as I would have liked, but it was fun and beautiful, and that's the most important part of any adventure.
