During my stay in Santikhiri Estate Resort on the island of Koh Samui , i did many walks around this huge mountain that Santikhiri Estate Resort sits on and i couldn't help noticing these big beautiful Banyan trees they were all over the mountain apparently they are a very popular tree all round Thailand they are regarded as a sacred tree and a very well respected tree by the Thai people the myth is that this tree is believed to provide the fulfillment of wishes and provide material gains according to the Thai people but also the India and Pakistan people believe the same.
The funny fact was every Banyan tree i saw up here in the mountain was embracing a boulder there was certainly a love affair happening up here between Banyan trees and Boulders and there certainly wasn't any escaping for these poor boulders even if they weren't getting on they had no choice they were tightly bounded and locked in by these amazing huge strong Banyan tree roots there was no escaping this was a eternal commitment. 😆
This was all new for me i had never seen trees with such roots almost completing submerging these boulders it was like the boulder had fallen into a spiderweb and there was no turning back or escaping 😱
Here are some other more relaxed Banyan trees that i came across they are a beautiful looking tree and make great landscape features but i have been told not to plant them in your backyard as they will take over your house and your house will end up like one of them Halloween scenes in a movie entire family strangled by Banyan Tree 😱

Something different. Interesting!. The roots wrapping round the boulder in black and white looks like a scene from a scary movie. :-)
They were really interesting to see and definitely a good scene for a scary movie 😱

Thank you @trangbaby i have been told that a Banyan tree lifespan could possibly be over a thousand years old but i don't think these ones were that old.
