Tree Tuesday & Trivialities

Happy Tree Tuesday!

Not much left of the Japanese Maple leaves.

Well I went out to do a proper Tree Tuesday this afternoon. However, it was not a huge success. Most all of the trees are rather barren.

Even where there was an old leave or three, the wind was blowing so it was a struggle to get a decent focus on anything!!

So I came inside to get a few snaps.

My Norfolk Island Pine is pretty cool.

My poinsettia is hanging on fairly well.

I liked how the sun was backlighting the leaves.

Hope your Hump Day will be a good one.

Gotta do what you gotta do right @old-guy-photos ?
I lost my Norfolk pines, I'd had them so long they were just too large to deal with any more, and I had to leave them, they died in the cold.

I was quite saddened by this, I tried to find some church or hospital or clinic with large well lighted spaces that would take them, but no luck.

Wow those were amazing! I feel for ya.

The maple looks like mine! I am really in love with the Norfolk Pine, everything about it. Your poinsettia is still looking good! I planted mine outside. It probably won't make it another year.

Lovely post!! It only gets better from here!

I certainly hope you are right. Better times ahead!

I can only remain positive because the alternative is too disheartening.

Yikes, Paul. A whole lot of gorgeous is left. Love the contrast between the vibrancy of the sky and the dry brown. Great captures.
