Here are a few trees from my hikes in the forests for #treetuesday by @old-guy-photos
Here's a sunset I got yesterday with tge moon and some bright clouds in the sky. The trees help ground this photo.
This is a tree from a large prairie area on one of the few hills in Illinois.
Now for some swampland trees. Many have fallen over into the mosquito infested waters.
Here is a bit of woodear growing on one of the fallen trees. This stuff is great in Ramen soup.
This is a prairie forest area with lots of nice opportunities for mushroom hunting.
Happy #treetuesday :-)
It is good that trees are not afraid of mosquitoes!
There would be no forests left if that were the case.
Why? People are afraid of mosquito bites, but they are not yet extinct
Haha say that in Africa lol.
I don't know, in Africa I was only in transit at the airport...
Malaria mosquitos have killed more humans throughout history than any other sort of cause of death. Nasty little insects.
I agree
Nice variety of nature :-)
Thanks gotta try and get out into nature as much as possible.
Really cool photos love them all 👍
Thanks, its been a great summer so far.
And lets hope it stays that way 🌞
WOW !!!
I would love to be in these places!
The only bad part is the ticks and mosquitos. You have to spray deet all over yourself. But other than that there are lots of cool nature things to find.
Yes, nature is beautiful and amazing !!!
There is still a lot of unknown for us in it!
Your photography is awesome!
Too bad there are no iguanas in these forests :-)
But have animals the other hehe. Have a nice day 😊
The shot of the one on the prairie area is really nice. :))
Yeah in the background is a huge wetland area with lots of birds hiding in the cattails.
