Tree Trunk Moving On To Another Life for TreeTuesday

in #treetuesday4 years ago

A couple of weeks ago on a walk around my block, I spied this tree trunk that had been sawed into pieces and looked to be waiting for someone to pick it up.

This tree had been needing to be cut down for a few years.

The tree trunk pieces are quite interesting and unique.
My guess is someone is going to make some unique seats or tables out of them!

I wonder if a woodpecker made these holes trying to eat the bugs living in the tree?

What do you all think, would these make unique seats or table for someone's backyard?
Which one is your favorite?

Wow, that first one does look like it could be turned into a coffee table very easily. As for the others, they kind of look rotten. I can't tell from the pictures. Either way they are heavy and twisted and awkward to move around. Maybe they were just removing the tree for "aesthetic" purposes and found a couple pieces that could be used again.

The neighborhood our school is gentrifying too quickly at the news of an express train station on the corner. The result is new construction and triple prices on real estate. A lot of kids' families at our school were not the owners but pay rent and when their leases are up they will have to move out of Seoul I guess. Anyway right across the street from my office is a cement mixer pouring cement and I really have a headache. I would like to go in the woods or walk around the neighborhood or look at trees.

Quietness does not come from a lack of noise but from a peace of heart.
Blessed quietness

Yes, it’s not too much fun to listen to noise like that when you are trying to work. That’s too bad about the people having to move because of the train station! I hope you get that walk in the woods soon!

Además de hermosos, son valiosos, para cosas útiles como muebles y mesas.

Wow! That will be a gorgeous coffee table!!! I love it when I see them at the trade shows! Of course, I don't like seeing them chopped down! Only if it has to be taken down for legitimate reasons!

Gimme! Gimme!

Thanks for the awesome share!

I leave old decaying trees be if I can, so bugs and animals can use them...
