Hello beautiful people

Welcome to another TribeSteemUp Curation, where I get to showcase some of the great Articles that the tribe members created and that really embody what the Tribe stands for.

The TribeSteemUp community, was created by @kennyskitchen. It is a Community Abundance Generator which supports authors who write articles that look at ways in which we can become more empowered and create a more peaceful and free world.The authors that were chosen to become part of the TribeSteemUp community are all writing content of high quality, which are based on the following topics:

| Anarchy | Non-Violence | Philosophy | Veganism | Mindfulness |
| Community Empowerment | Love | Original Music | Esotericism |
| Healthy Recipes | Psychedelics | Truth | Permaculture |

The TribeSteemmUp community also has 8 Pillars/Principles that each member has agreed to adhere by and you can find The 8 Pillars of TribeSteemUp at the end of this post

I have 16 articles to share today, articles that are all about inspiring us and motivating us to become more aware in our daily lives. For me life is all about learning, evolving and being mindful in all that we do. By coming together and engaging with one another we can all share our wisdom and empower one another. We can create the world in which we all wish to live. Happy reading and remember to show your appreciation by upvoting and commenting. You can go one step further by following the TribesteemUp Curation Trail, this way way you are supporting all the great authors who are creating quality content.

World Day Against Child Labor 2019

image.png

@artemislives

I bought a flower garland at the traffic lights here in Chiang Mai, Thailand, this evening from a young boy of maybe 10 or 11. I think he probably went to school today but helps his indigenous construction laborer parents after school. I want to believe that.
This photo shows a 12-year-old girl working on road construction in Hpapun District, Southeast Burma. In the words of a villager in Win Yay Township, Dooplaya District, "Children from poor families who do not own plantations work as casual daily labourers to survive."
Fast fashion, cheap electronics and "fad foods" like cashew nuts from developing countries are often processed and created by children. Cheap chocolate is frequently harvested using children.

Working For Free - Working For Freedom

image.png

@stortebeker

The concept of volunteering is nothing new for me. I have wwoofed quite a bit in various places around the world, and in recent years I have helped with numerous eco-building projects, mostly Earthships. However, it wasn't until this year that my eyes are getting opened to the incredible freedom that comes with volunteering. Let me illustrate:
Comparing the Last Two Years
If you've been following my blog for the last year, you will be familiar with the projects I have undertaken in 2018, the year I consider by far the best in my whole life. Building the wall in Oaxaca, Earthshipping on Vancouver Island, and even working at the bike shop in Victoria were examples where I dedicated my time, strength, mind, and skills to help with a project that is ultimately not mine, and all without asking for any money in return.

My Relationship With Plants!

image.png

@trucklife-family

My life is sustained by plants, they nourish me, cloth me and heal me. I have always had a great love for all plants and Using them to heal me has allowed me to create this wonderful relationship and partnership with nature. The more time that I have spend with native plants in and around my home, the more that I have felt their energy and engaged with their life force, which all plays such an important part in the healing process.
Everything in nature is made up of energy, we can pick up on the energy that all these things give out as long as we are aware and open to receiving it. It may be hard for some to accept this, but just think about how you feel when you go out into nature, be it to the forest, the mountains, the ocean. Does your mood change? Does your energy Level's change? Every plant species has it's own vibration or personality and this is the healing energy of the plant.

Some thoughts about Vocations and Purposes in life

image.png

@nomad-magus

A disclaimer - in the following message I am going to speak in abstract and artificial manners in order to present "unearthly" notions. If spirituality and such are not your favorite reading-material or if you consider those topics 'pointless mambo-jumbo' then you probably will prefer to skip this message altogether.
What is the common denominator for President Trump, The Pope, Mother Theresa, the biblical King David, The gifted footballer David Beckham, Jean D’arc, Bill Gates and the musician John Lennon?
Many humans periodically ask themselves: 'what is the meaning of the earthly existence?', and in specific 'what is MY purpose in this lifetime?’. As expected, the answers vary according to life-circumstances and other elements.

Maximium Effect by Minimum Effort - How To Stop Struggling so much

@vincentnijman

I received a phone call, a week or two ago, if I wanted to be part of a three week meditation challenge? As I have been meditating ( seriously ) for over a year now, I was definitely up for this.
The challenge would take place via Whatsapp. I soon found out that there were many parallels with earlier meditation / mindfulness / law of attraction material that I had studied and gotten myself into in the last two years.
The theme of the challenge ( that I am midway through now ) is 'abundance'. It's a highly interesting thing to focus on. Most of us have created the believe that - due to society, family, the schooling system, media and so on and so forth - there is lack of everything.

It's Astro-Logical -- practical advice for conscious living ---> Issue #81

image.png

@enchantedspirit

The theme of this pattern
Navigating illusions.
Who are the players
and what are they doing?
The Sun = your self-image, your fundamental sense of who you are
Neptune = imagination, fantasies, illusions, daydreams -- but also phobias and paranoia
Departing squares = often deal with "foundation problems," painful memories, issues from the past, secrets you want to deny or keep buried
What's happening?
The best word to describe this energy is "strange." Yes, that could describe almost any mix where stressed Neptune plays a part, but when it starts messing with you sense of who you are, things go from peculiar to weird pretty quick. So, this energy is strange. Strange to own, strange to meet, strange to observe ... or work with ... or try to describe.

Identity - "Who are you?"

image.png

@whatamidoing

It's hard for me to engage in debates about identity. People get very heated about it sometimes and have, what I consider, very rigid ideas about identity. I've never liked labels although I don't reject them entirely. They have some usefulness at times but then end up being boxes that limit our perspective. There are even labels to describe people trying not to fit into labels. I get it. I'm a tad bit gender fluid or pansexual myself. Or not. Whatever.
Is it really important to have an identity? Is that what people really care about? Or is it the freedom to say "I am me", and not have someone tell you you aren't. Would Hong Kong locals feel so proud of their identity if they were not being told that they are not Hong Kongers but something else?

Boundaries that honour Sacred Relationships

image.png

@wwf

A few months back I realized that there is a huge difference between physical intimacy, sex being a part of that, and emotional intimacy. I wrote a post about this learning experience and it had profoundly touched many people. I share the link to the post as I'm going to build on what I wrote. I would recommend re-reading the post before continuing with this one.
https://steemit.com/ungrip/@wwf/guys-we-are-making-a-big-mistake-that-needs-to-be-remedied
When we start to acknowledge that each of us has this sacred space upon which we experience life, we must also acknowledge that it is our responsibility to protect that space and ensure nobody violates it's sacredness, including ourselves. But to do that requires efforts to heal ourselves, explore what the boundaries are in our lives and find the courage to stand up and say no when somebody violates them.

Canna Fest Is Next Week!!(VEG ROOM UPDATE #55)

image.png

@jonyoudyer

What's up Steem! So excited for the Canna Fest going down in Portland next week, on June 22nd. I got some canna butter that I will be making edibles with to hand out to all Steemians who go. We understand that a lot of people will not be able to attend, but we will hopefully have a live stream, so we can at least of a smoke out with everyone in the virtual world. I want to give a special thanks to @qwoyn, creator of @hashkings for hosting this event. I never would of thought of doing this myself. One day, he said "Hey man, let's do a Canna-Curate meetup." Of course I said "FUCK YES!" Danny has paid 400$ dollars out of pocket for us to have this. So thank you man, can't wait to make my way up there, and finally get to hang out with some Steemians, that I have always looked up to, like @elamental, @richardcrill, @alchemage, and more! Should be a good time.

Tribes: The Best Tool For Solving Problems Through A Supermind

image.png

@taskmaster4450

Most of you are aware that @aggroed announced, earlier this week, the intention to create "Tribes" on Steem. This is going to be a "communities" feature that was long discussed around here. The core of the Tribe is the website which will give all community members a place to meet up. On that platform, people will have the ability to create content using a variety of different media. There will be video posting, streaming, blogging, and a forum, all under one umbrella.
Tribes is an important concept from an intelligence perspective. We know that mobs tend to drift towards the lowest common denominator. Hence why mobs basically act like idiots.

The Weird Solace of Thunderstorms & Bad Weather

image.png

@paradigmprospect

Thunderstorms and bad weather have always been somewhat comforting to me, and today that the sky was black during daytime (and it was storming and thundering like crazy) I was reminded of this weird feeling of solace I get when nature throws a fit.
I really don't know what it is, but I do have some hypotheses.
I think the easy and almost comfortable feeling I get when it's harsh outside comes from the atmosphere it creates among human beings. It slows everything down mightily and temporarily suspends the matrix' pressure on our ego. While some may outright fear thunder and lightning I feel it kind of resets our regular rut. It forces us out of our routine where every day seems the same, instead throwing us all into an out-of-the-ordinary situation and allowing us to watch each other deal with it.

Every Voice Has Value. Why Free Speech is Essential To Success In Life & Online. Steem Is a Powerful Force For Freedom.

image.png

@ura-soul

Have you ever noticed how planet Earth's human society can be compared to the cells in your own body? A large number of individual entities forming a whole! The macro of the world and the micro of the human vehicle often reflect each other and we can see this in our communication with each other. When there is control and limitation applied to free speech in society, problems cannot be solved and this is the same in an individual human - health problems arise when inner messages are denied and ignored.
If you value health, wellbeing, freedom, free speech and success then I highly suggest you make use of the Steem blockchain's social networking features, which are uncensored and that even pay you to post! Let's make Humanity great!

The Power of Empathy Marketing in the Crypto Ecosystem

image.png

@sterlinluxan

Cryptocurrency business leaders sometimes fail to leverage empathy with their users and customers. Many of the top industry players also engage in infighting, causing them to miss amazing opportunities to market their achievements to the world.
It's upsetting to witness the squabbling and heartache. Too much talent gets squandered in the process. In turn, founders and creators wonder why their business models suffer or their clients sell their tokens only to exit the ecosystem.

F**K Glycophospates: Make Muesli Bars

image.png

@riverflows

In fact, you need to make EVERYTHING. Not just muesli bars. You absolutely cannot depend on anything you buy from the supermarket being safe for you, or your family. If it's not certified organic, and you've bought muesli or muesli bars from the supermarket, or any kind of rice or grain, chances are you've unwittingly ingested poison. Yay. Big Agriculture's grand, innit?
Bayer, the owner of Monsanto, argues that their studies show Roundup is safe - yet the WHO argue it's "possibly carcinogenic to humans.". Possibly is enough for most of us - and most of us know that weedkillers are dangerous. We don't use them ourselves, and would be mad as hell if our neighbours used them and it drifted over and killed our garden.

They said I was Crazy for gardening like this, until they saw the Harvests...

Learning To Be Still & Homesteading for the Long Run

image.png

@walkerland

Hmm. Well, I've been taught a bit of a lesson this week about listening to my body and being kinder to myself. I preach it often enough, but sometimes, I fail to take my advice. A recent injury has got me thinking about longevity and the homesteading lifestyle. Will I be able to do this when I am 60? 80?
I woke yesterday, and the pain in my back was sharp, pinching, flaring, stiff, and ouch. Injury of this nature is something new for me; I've never pushed it past that line before and actually ... broke. I find this quite alarming because I love hard work and pushing myself. We've got a lot to get done and much of it relies on me being strong and capable.

A big thank you to @hungryhustle for creating the amazing infographic of the 8 Pillars Of TribeSteemUp and For @eco-alex for creating the tribesteemup banner and logo.
