If you are a COMBATANT (military serviceman, military officer, police officer, volunteer.):

in #ualast year (edited)

⭕️ wear one tourniquet in the first-aid kit, one on the armor, the entire unit must have a designated place for wearing the tourniquet
⭕️ because we provide aid to the injured with a tourniquet - that's why you should know where the tourniquet is in the entire unit
⭕️ a tourniquet is the only first aid that can be done under fire
⭕️ if YOU were injured:
✔️ return fire
✔️ move to conditional shelter, if possible
✔️ without wasting time, apply the tourniquet as high as possible on the limb, as tight as possible, record the time of applying the tourniquet
⭕️ if SOMEONE is injured:
✔️ return fire
✔️ shout to the injured person "put on a tourniquet" and direct him to shelter
✔️ if the wounded cannot apply a tourniquet and move by himself, the tactical situation allows and there is fire support, drag the wounded to shelter using the "grab and run" method
✔️ if the tactical situation allows, provide assistance in sheltering: apply HIS tourniquet as high as possible on the limb, as tight as possible, record the time of applying the tourniquet
⭕️ never remove or loosen the tourniquet, this can be done by a doctor
If you are a MEDICINE of the unit:
⭕️ make sure that each of your military personnel has at least one, preferably two turnstiles
⭕️ every free minute CHASE THEM through the turnstiles!!!
⭕️ for this, order several training turnstiles from volunteers / from the security unit - soldiers CANNOT train on the turnstiles
⭕️ in the area under fire, apply the tourniquet as high as possible, in shelter or during evacuation, after the examination, you can apply the tourniquet on the palm above the wound and loosen the first tourniquet (without removing it), record the time of application
⭕️ don't forget to check all the turnstiles and recorded time in the shelter
⭕️ do not miss bleeding that needs to be tamped
⭕️ you are a doctor, but your tourniquets are for you, this rule is inviolable
⭕️ do you have a free minute? CHASE your unit through the turnstiles
⭕️ everything else after the turnstiles you know yourself 😉 if you don't know - find out
If you are a VOLUNTEER or order turnstiles for a unit:
⭕️ MOST IMPORTANT, finally: here is the list of turnstiles that can be ordered:
✅ CAT (Combat application tourniquet) Gen7, manufactured by North American Rescue
✅ SOF TT (special operation forces tactical tourniquet), manufacturer of Tactical medical solutions)
✅ TMT Tourniquet, manufacturer of Combat medical systems
✅ SAM XT (Extremity tourniquet), manufactured by SAM Medical
✅ SICH Tourniquet, manufacturer SICH Ukraine
ALL
OTHERS
TOURNIQUETS
NOISE
There are no "good Chinese copies", there is no "the same, just for cheapness without a brand"
There are good rubber harnesses (not esmarkh))) but they are not suitable for the military
Perhaps there are other cool turnstiles in the world that have not yet been explored
But you are not ready to test them on living people during the war? That's good. You have a list of turnstiles, study the distributor/manufacturer/seller very carefully so that it is exactly the original turnstile.
⭕️ also ensure that the unit receives training in tactical medicine - there are civilian instructors who can do this. It makes no sense to send a truckload of turnstiles to those who don't know how to put them on
If you are a CIVILIAN:
⭕️ it will be cool if you know how to apply a tourniquet! If not, stop the bleeding by applying direct pressure to the wound
⭕️ the rules are the same, only without firing: take the safest possible place, put a tourniquet, record the time and wait for help
⭕️ apply a tight compression bandage to children up to adolescence and lift the injured limb up.
