Walking through Bratislava, it is impossible to miss the Presidential Palace. For a long time it was the residence of Count Grasalkovich. This is why the palace is sometimes called the Grashalkovich Palace. Extremely beautiful architecture will make you fall in love. And when you walk in the park, you can easily imagine how once upon a time there were nobles in beautiful clothes.
Гуляючи Братиславаю неможливо оминути Президентський палац. Дуже давно це була резиденція графа Грасалковича. Від цього палац ще іноді називають - палац Грашалковича. Надзвичайно красива архітектура змусить закохатися. А коли ви будете гуляти парком, то з легкістю будете уявляти собі, як колись дуже давно тут гуляли знатні особи в красивому одязі.
This palace was full of real aristocratic life: balls, social gatherings and concerts. There was passionate love and disappointment, fun and sadness. How I would like to be at least for a moment in those days in a beautiful dress and walk through the corridors of the palace.
В цьому палаці кипіла справжнє аристократичне життя: бали, світські прийоми та концерти. Тут було палке кохання і розчарування, веселощі та смуток. Як би хотілося хоч на хвильку опинитися в ті часи в красивому графському платті та прогулятися коридорами палацу.
Today, anyone can walk in the park for free. The park has a huge number of flowers, trees, fountains and benches. There is a playground for children. There is also a free toilet in the park.
Сьогодні парком гуляти може кожен бажаючий безкоштовно. На території парку величезна кількість квітів, дерев, фонтанів та лавочки. Для дітей є дитячий майданчик. Також на території парку є безкоштовний туалет.
In front of the palace you can see a large fountain in the form of a globe. It symbolizes peace in the whole world. In summer, there are always a lot of people near the fountain, and for locals it is a meeting place. By the way, there is an honor guard near the palace. Beautiful stately guardsmen with feathers in hats periodically change each other.
Перед палацом можна побачити великий фонтан у вигляді земної кулі. Він символізує мир у всьому світі. Влітку біля фонтану завжди багато людей, а для місцевих мешканців це місце зустрічі. Доречі, біля палацу є почесний караул. Красиві статні гвардійці з перами у шляпах періодично міняють один одного.
After the partition of the Czechoslovak Republic and to this day, this palace is the residence of the President of Slovakia. Not far from the palace there is a railway station, and on the other side of the Old Town. If you are in Bratislava, I advise you to visit the Presidential Palace and Park.

I used to, but 2020, you know :) It's a 40 EUR flight over, so at least a weekend or two per year usually
Cool!)) Now Bratislava, unfortunately, is in the red zone in Slovakia. We live 20 km away and cannot visit yet.
