The title of this video sums up what is wrong with Angela Hill's outlook on MMA.
I have always been an Angela Hill fan but she needs to understand that this is MMA and not boxing.
She tends to loose the decisions because when you make a a pure striking battle AND are not dominating that battle the subjectivity of the judging comes more into play. A lot depends on the angle you view the battle from as what looks to be a solid 2 from one angle is a shoulder roll from another.
Angela got it right in that she needs to diversify her game as she tends to be the stronger person in many of her fights. If she can get it to the ground she could probably keep the person there unless they were a high level grappler. The problem is that she still does not get it as it is not about hugging but rather about control and ground and pounding them. When you are on top and landing punches the subjectivity of the judging comes less into play.
I hope she can make the adjustment because she is not going to stop the fighters at the stop of the division with her boxing.
