I've been criticised by some people as Putin's cheerleader for pointing out the reality that Ukraine is being badly defeated militarily and needs to agree to Putin's demands to save lives, salvage its sovereignty and give NATO time to rebuild its strength.
I'm not Putin's cheerleader at all.
I'm just realistic that emotional rants on social media, self destructive sanctions, appalling racism against Russians and hypocritical double standards are not going to stop him.
Nor is escalating the war into a direct confrontation with NATO, which Russia would likely win at the moment given the parlous state of NATO military forces.
Only massive military force (which NATO doesn't have at the moment) can stop Putin.
NATO needs time to rebuild (just like the Allies needed in 1939).
The Unpalatable Reality
This is my comment that prompted the accusation of being Putin's cheerleader.
What Putin is doing is winning.
He will kill as many people as he needs to to achieve his military objectives.
Ukraine should have surrendered 10 days ago. Now the real meat grinder begins.
It is a gruesome fact of war that the vast majority of deaths on the losing side occur after it is clear they have lost, when they chose to fight on. The South in US Civil War, the Germans in WWII, the 30 years war.
I don't know who leaked Israeli PM Bennett's private advice to Zelensky to surrender but it was the most sensible thing Bennett has said in years.

I am partially observant Israel Jew living in Tel Aviv, less that 400km from a major Russian airbase and naval base (Latika) whose air force (IAF) flies through Russian air defences on a daily basis to destroy terrorist and Iranian positions in Syria.
In the 1990s I served for almost 4 years in the Australian Army Reserve and trained as an infantry officer.
Less than a year ago thousands of rockets were fired at my city and I had to take my family (including 3 kids under 4) into our bomb shelter safe room as we could hear the booms of the rockets and missile defence system fighting it out in the sky outside.

I didn't see this worldwide outpouring of sympathy and offers of support for Israeli civilians under fire from genuinely evil terrorists committing real war crimes a year ago.
Israelis know war and they know Putin.
We are sympathetic to Ukrainian civilians (because we actually know what its like to live under fire) but know that the best way to save Ukrainian civilian lives is for Zelensky (and his US puppet masters) to agree to Russian demands.
Ukraine cannot win, they can only salvage some sovereignty and save lives or be wiped out as a state with a huge cost in lives.
The Holocaust

The Holocaust happened because Jews were stateless and had no way to defend themselves from Nazis (just like those Azov Battalions many are cheerleading for in Ukraine). Now we do.
We (Israel) spend 5-6% of GDP on defence to protect ourselves from our enemies.
The Europeans (who spend less than 2%) need to start spending the same percentage on defence and stop wasting resources on a lost, indefensible cause (Ukraine).
They will need every Javelin and MANPAD to save themselves when Putin moves on to Poland and the Baltics and then Germany and The Netherlands (which are completely undefended).
Russia saved Jews from the Nazis
Jews were only saved from almost complete extinction in WWII by the brave sacrifice of 30 million Soviet, mostly Russian, citizens who did 90% of the fighting to gradually crush the most frighteningly superb fighting force the world has ever seen.
Then the USA, which sacrificed very little, claimed credit for beating the Nazis (when they mainly fought old men and children on the Western Front).
After the Soviet Union collapsed internally (because Socialism doesn't work) the USA became the sole superpower (having never won a land war outside its near abroad) and went around invading weak nations, bullying everyone and virtue signaling its righteousness (when it has killed millions for its selfish interests, just like other major powers).
A multi-polar world is better for freedom, liberty and cryptocurrency (which enables both) and destroys the globalist (Davos crowd) agenda.
Putin needs to be stopped at the Polish border. He cannot be stopped in Ukraine.

Personally I think that this is going to be a huge insurgency that is just going to continue to destroy the Russian war machine.
The fact that Russian equipment maintenance was not done. The fact that they had to push this invasion with so much secrecy.
And the entire morale which we are starting to watch the morale collapse.
But personally everybody said that Ukraine forces would fold like a piece of paper. Which currently they've been working like an envelope isolating and ambushing rear guard elements.
I Think defeat is inevitable. However the price that Russia is going to pay is going to be so high, it might not even be worth this conflict.
I know a bunch of individuals that bet heavily Russia was going to just brutalize Ukraine and now most of them understand that this situation is just spiraling out of control.
Russia is getting upset because of the waves of foreign fighters? Russia says that's not acceptable and then opens up recruiting centers in Syria.
We won't see what happens with this conflict however I am going to say that it is just going to get even more brutal.
and I do believe that Russia ended up persecuting even more Jewish individuals than Germany did. Which would be the reason why the Ukrainian and Russian Jews were such a high priority for Israel to allow into their country.
Russia will lose over half its army here but it looks like 44 Million Ukrainians will be displaced.

Actually looking over the numbers of functional equipment they have left. It definitely is now completely dependent on weapons technology and what happens when half of their nukes aren't able to even launch. And half of the ones that do launch... Can't hit their targets. And then half of that fail from detonation.
Russian equipment is looking like it is completely obsolete non-functional and unable to coordinate without being hacked.
Which I'm just going to say is the ultimate underlying Factor here. All of these leadership's getting removed from the battlefield shows us the precision in modern warfare now with electronic signals intelligence.
When you are able to identify which tank has the Commander in it. Just Target that until you kill the commander. Now they're out of general.
I do believe we're looking at a huge amount of generals that have been targeted and removed from play permanently.

Ukraine Defence Ministry just admitted to losing control of their entire coastline of Sea of Azov.

Biden is begging China not to support Russia and being told to pound sand in no uncertain terms. India is buying Russian oil.
Saudi won't take Biden's calls and refuses to pump more oil.
Biden is begging Venezuela and Iran to pump more oil (after sanctioning them for years).
Not only is Russia not losing, but US power is evaporating before our eyes. The US and collective West is showing a desperation I've never seen before and is being treated with contempt.

However what you're not seeing is Russia has been brutalized. The majority of their Frontline groups have been destroyed. Equipment losses are skyrocketing. And they've already lost way more individuals than the United States lost in Afghanistan and Iraq in 20 years already.
What you were really seeing is Putin getting destroyed by his neighbor that's kind of like the United States going to war with Mexico and getting destroyed.
