Ukrainian Family from Kharkov safe now in Cyprus

in #ukraine2 years ago

My friend's relatives have recently fled all the way from Kharkov to Cyprus. At first it was very difficult for them to leave Kharkov, since the ceasefire was constantly disrupted. Yet they managed to take a train through multiple cities over multiple days to finally reach Hungary. Since Ukrainian income, savings, and currency value, is very low compared to the currencies within Europe (countries like Hungary don't use Euro), it was very expensive for them to make the last travel to Cyprus. Now in Cyprus they struggle to pay rent and find a job, not knowing the language and having barely any money.

After hearing of the horrific massacre that has happened in cities conquered by Russia, such as Bucha, I am very happy that my friend's relatives, and the friends I have in Ukraine (from Kiev), have all managed to escape with their family and are safe within the EU.

But to help them make a home in EU, please consider giving this post an upvote. All post rewards will directly go to my friend who will send the post earnings to his relatives.
