The real nature of the CIA - From Nixon to Trump.

A very interesting video by Prager U and spokesman Hugh Hewitt has got me thinking. Hewitt takes us back to the Watergate scandal which caused President Richard Nixon to resign. There is a wealth of history in this short video, for instance that Mark Felt, Deputy FBI director was the “Deep Throat” leaker who supplied Wash/Po writers Woodward and Bernstein with their anti-Nixon ammunition; and Felt is the origin of the now iconic phrase “follow the money." It’s a fascinating and valuable video and I recommend it. But I don’t agree with it. Hewitt opines that Nixon was removed by a conspiracy of the liberal media. I think he was removed by the CIA.

According to Hewitt and Prager U, the Watergate Scandal was a conflict between Nixon and the liberal Media. The media, at that time CBS, NBC, ABC, the New York Times and the Washington Post, combined to reverse the massive electoral victory of Nixon and the Republicans in 1972.

Nixon, says Hewitt, was removed by the media for three reasons:

Nixon was

  1. despised by the East Coast Liberal elite class because he was an outsider and conservative and not “Ivy League” and he was
  2. Anti-communist – the media "thought the communist threat was overblown” and the media were all communist sympathizers, according to Prager U. And Nixon
  3. refused to abandon South Vietnam, insisting on a “peace with honour” – the media was all anti-war, says Prager.

I don’t buy this. The trouble with this thesis is the same trouble with the entire Trump movement: it is ignorance about the CIA and especially about Israel. Prager is a huge proponent of Zionism and the State of Israel and all of the foreign policy belligerence that goes along with that political and emotional stance. And this belief structure is utterly blind to the CIA and Mossad.

Nixon was anti-communist? Sure, superficially. But he made peace with China. The media were anti-war? Sure, weakly and superficially.

But meanwhile CIA-orchestrated terrorism was happening all over the USA and Europe, all of it claiming to be communist and anti-war but all of it having the effect of vilifying the left and the anti-war movement. This effect was not an accident, it was a design. “The Strategy of Tension” had been formulated by the founders of Aginter Press in the early ‘60s and CIA was behind that, even as preparations were under weigh for the removal of Kennedy.

Nixon was a CIA dabbler and friend of drug dealing Mafia and CIA people. The entire US media was owned by agents and friends and moles from the CIA. And following the 1967 attack by Israel on the USS Liberty and the coverup of this act of war by President Johnson the State of Israel had become the de facto owner of the US State Department and the CIA was the owner of the Pentagon following the murder of JFK and the prosecution of the Vietnam War.

Prager’s spokesman cites Nixon's election victories of 1968 and 1972 but there is no mention of the murder of Bobby Kennedy so obviously instrumental in Nixon’s success.

I believe the CIA murdered Bobby Kennedy because it was very apparent that Bobby would be elected in a landslide and immediately expose the CIA as the murderers of his brother and the sole cause of the Vietnam War.

Nixon must have thought the CIA were his good friends. The Watergate “plumbers” were all very old acquaintances of Nixon and all members of Operation 40 and the Bay of Pigs project which Vice President Nixon was White House liaison for, and all were CIA assets and agents; these men were professionals, how did they screw up the break-in so amateurishly?

The Watergate break-in was “bungled" on purpose. Why did the CIA help so much to install Nixon and then supply him with the men who brought him down?

Nixon was removed because he was trying to be an active president and he was trying to discover how the CIA might have been involved with JFK’s murder. Nixon established the DEA as a rival to the CIA because he knew the CIA were drug importers. Nixon was trying to diminish the power of the CIA in the White House because he felt it was the duty of a president to preserve the independent power of the office. He was trying to get presidential control over the NSC.

Nixon knew too much. Did he know the CIA had killed Jack and Bobby? I don’t believe it. Politicos like him are never in the Intelligence loop. They are groomed into thinking the CIA is subordinate to the President and to Congress.

The removal of Nixon was the second major step in the CIA take-over of the White House and the entire US government in the service of the State of Israel and the Military-Industrial Complex.

So if Prager wants to compare Nixon to Trump he’s certainly justified. But not for the reasons he thinks. Prager, like Trump himself, stops at the gate behind which is the State of Israel and the “Intelligence community”.

The sole and lonely voice that said “CIA is behind the election fraud” was Sydney Powell. And she was immediately dumped by Trump. And this alone knocked the wind out of the campaign to resist the stolen election. It was doomed from that moment on.

Trump was and is very like Nixon in many ways. And, like Nixon, his blindness to the real nature of the CIA and its power doomed him from start to finish.
