The Miliodon belonged to the family of armadillos, anteaters and sloths, it is said that it could walk on two legs, according to studies it is estimated that it measured approximately 2.5 meters and its weight was 3 tons. Its skin was very tough, basically made up of small bones making it very resistant to attack by other animals. The Milodon or Mylodon Darwini was practically herbivorous. I inhabit the main slopes and hills, such as the emblematic Milodon cave located in southern Chile near Puerto Natales.

It was quite interesting to know this great cave, it had a large size which reaffirms the theory that this was a fairly huge animal, where the cave is located there is a lot of vegetation around which is indicative that they were surely located in very similar areas to be able to feed.
