The predicted cold weather arrived with vengance last week with snow on Wednesday night, albeit light. Thursday though it snowed most of the day, it was not really sticking but the prediction was for it to get worse rather then better so we finished work early after the FedEx driver arrived at 2.30pm. My boys school had already shut at 1pm, and they were all out making snowmen and enjoy the last part of winter.
The snow really picked up Thursday night, and by Friday morning we had a thick covering. Schools were closed, and with buses cancelled and roads treacherous I decided to give the staff a day off too because getting into work would not be safe. I made it in myself after clearing the car of its fluffy white coating - and managed to clear a good portion of orders before finishing early again.

Saturday and the thaw had already started, so I had a big local delivery to do and then an emergency machine repair at local customer Mamil - then after picking up tools from work to repair my oven at home that had decided to stop working Wednesday night - and some food supplies it was back home just as a new batch of snow started. That was short lived and by Sunday most of the snow was already gone.
With all that going on the vlog did not get fitted in - so it’s a Monday vlog for a change. Aside from the cold and snow, it’s been another busy week with both roasters keeping the chill out - it seems commercial orders are really ramping up as we head towards easter so trying to fit in some stock roasting alongside the orders has become essential.
My Hive full API node is fully functional, Hivemind is being a little fickle about crashing but generally it is working nicely again and I finally have a back up Hive Engine witness running as well.

I really love cold weather but have never live in a place with snow, usually we dont know how bad things can be until we go through the experience, all that snow seems to be a real inconvenience probably same or worst than rain, although heat and humidity could be so bad sometimes down here that I guess anything cooler is better
