A New Normal For Cannabis Buying Habits

in #weedcash3 years ago (edited)

This year people are spending more on cannabis products than they usually do, to help millions cope with the negative impacts they've been feeling over the past few months. Around the country cannabis sales have increased, with vapes and edibles seeing a dramatic rise in demand.

Sales for cannabis products in Colorado are on track to break records despite the tourism industry virtually coming to a stop, the cannabis business is still booming for the region and bringing in millions in sales without those tourists coming through.

Cannabis sales are on set to break annual records; they saw more than $200 million in sales in Sept alone. This high spending in the cannabis sector has some suggesting that this might be a new normal for buying habits in the industry. Just recently, a number of states joined in on embracing legalization for medicinal or recreational markets. That is going to bring hundreds of millions into the cannabis market overall. As more people deal with anxiety, depression, and the other negative effects of COVID-19, they continue to turn to cannabis and CBD to help them deal with it.

A lot of progress has been made as far as availability of cannabis products to millions, but there are still many places that unjustly criminalize even the possession of a joint. They are still arresting people over possession and other cannabis "crimes" even in places that do have legal markets. And still they have left cannabis on the controlled drugs and substances act, a designation that never should have been given to this plant to begin with.

Deliveries to first-time cannabis customers have spiked in some regions over 50 percent.

In Colorado, Alaska, Washington, and other regions, the order volume for cannabis products is up. Now with more businesses also coming to the market that means more competition and product variety for consumers too. As of now it's estimated that some one third of Americans have access to cannabis in the country. It might not be that long before other regions like Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Texas, and more, change their outdated criminalization of this plant as well.

$80 USD can get you a very wide range of quality and weights of Cannabis. Its funny to see people spend at the dispensaries rates when its legal to grow your own now in many places.

for those who have the space and the means👍it can save a lot of money depending on how much you use and offer better quality esp if you know what you're doing

Dispensaries sell their bud at a premium. It's a waste of money to buy bud at the dispensary, imo.
