So a few days ago, @sn0n came to me with the idea of starting a witness, and I said yes. Its something I'd been considering for a while as it would help fund GiftGiver quite nicely and I'd have an even bigger role in the chain. And with that, he introduced me to @edicted and we came up with a plan and we started up a witness server.
So for now its the three of us(plus an unnamed advisor) running this node. I like working with them because everyone has different skills and we are all working on our individual projects, but working together we can do even better. We have people to bounce ideas off of(which we've already been doing) and ask for help with. I setup the first node, which was a Privex node in a box. As we continue ranking up, we'll be getting a backup and eventually we want to run a full node as well, but small steps.
Sn0n is backup for setting up the nodes and Edicted is more on promotional duty.
All three of us have our own separate projects that we are working on and we hope that everyone finds use out of our projects, enough that they believe that voting for us as a witness is the right move to do. I'm definitely the worst author out of the three of us, with both @sn0n and @edicted coming up with much more interesting posts to read about this:
