10% -> 12% HBD interest
As several witnesses in the top 21 (currently 9 as of writing this) are bumping up the HBD interest rate (in savings) lately, it is probably a good time to review this parameter on my own witness even being outside top 21 which does not influence anything.
The current HBD debt ratio is relatively low at 2.62% as of writing this while at the same time trading between $0.95 - $0.99 at most times. Raising the interest rate in this situation would further incentivise locking up HBD in savings (for at least 3 days) and would make it even more compelling stablecoin that natively belongs to a 5 year old network.
Hence, I agree with the raise and have updated the witness parameter as shown below (the tx).
Hivemind updated to v1.25.3
After being informed about a very slow bridge.get_ranked_posts API call, I have recently updated my Hivemind database to the latest release using the pre-prepared dump (not ideal for me but at least it does not take a week to re-sync), which indeed fixed the issue. On top of that, it resulted in 82GB disk savings and does not consume ∞ RAM anymore.
Getting listed in PeakD
Finally seized the opportunity to reach out to PeakD to get my public node listed on at least one generic and popular Hive frontend. It is now added to the node beacon, that means it will probably be available as an API node to use in the actual frontend in their next patch.
This is the first public node on that list that is hosted in Asia outside of datacenters, running through a public-facing proxy VPS.
Alive Protocol streamer app teasers
Yes I know this has been WIP for 1.5 years, but at least I now have something presentable for all of you on the current progress of the protocol. At this point, the core protocol is fully completed (some time ago) and the remaining work is the UI followed by platform integrations.

As this is a PySide6 Qt app, all that is left for this app is to invoke the daemon that is written in the same language to begin live streaming to IPFS or Skynet through the UI (which already works through CLI).
